As we were following Kyle and his pack through the forest and to their camp I couldn't help but look behind me to see my pack growing slower I stopped and walked to my pack who were falling behind. Kyle must have felt me getting further away from him because he stopped his pack and headed towards me.
"What's wrong mate?" I looked at him and then turned my head to my pack, "they've suffered a great deal tonight we're not use to getting attacked, I'm sorry if we're slowing you down I just can't push them further, three of them are with pups, and four of them have lost their mates, I just can't I'm sorry."
Kyle nudged his head against mine "It's Okay love... we could rest we're about five minutes away so we could rest please don't be sad." I whimpered as I heard the sensitivity in his voice. Communicating through mind was different for me and for him but we were learning fast. Kyle walked over to his pack and by the alphas as they switched to human form. I looked at my pack who was waiting for my permission to rest and take human form. I bowed my head to give them permission as my sister went to everyone and placed her hand in them to give them clothing.
Lilly then looked at me as she wondered why I hadn't switched yet. I looked towards the back of my mind as I heard my wolf whine.
What is it? What's wrong?
Nothing... I just hurt and you know you feel pain right now stop trying to act tough show your mate your hurting, why isn't the gash in our side healing yet what's going on?! She was hyperventilating and then I tried to remember that there was pain I started to whimper.
Lilly walked to me as she put her hand on my coat she gasped as she pulled it away examining her hand that was now soaked in my blood, only you wouldn't be able to tell seeing as though my coat is red with platinum silver. "Jade you haven't healed yet?" I heard a small sigh as I looked by my side to see Kyle in his human form, he played with the hair on my head, as he scratched behind my ear, and then looked at Lilly, "I'm Kyle by the way...Are you okay? why is your hand bleeding?" Lilly looked at me as I nodded my head to give her permission to tell him. "I'm Lilly and it's not me... it's Jade she hasn't healed completely yet look." She said as she put her clean hand on my side, taking it away it was drenched in blood.
Kyle let out a whine, "Jade please switch so we could take care of that, please love." I whimpered as he let out a low growl. I glared at him and he winced, "Sorry love I'm not trying to be a dick but I'm worried it was supposed to have healed already please love please switch," I let out a low groan as I switched to my human form. Lilly quickly put her hand on me as clothes appeared on my body.
The pain was even more unbearable now that I was in my human form. Kyle whistled and waved at this tall dark haired man who rushed over to us. "Harry this is my mate Jade she's badly injured it happened during the battle and she still hasn't healed." His voice was on edge as his muscles tense up. I put my hand on his hand as he seemed to ease a little. Harry looked at me as his wolf asked mine for permission I nodded as he looked at the cut then looked at us.
Harry's expression was concerned... "Alpha whatever they stabbed her with it's blocking her capability to self heal." Kyle's eyes shades to black I could hear his wolf get to the surface I quickly squeezed his hand which made him snap out of it. He looked down at me, "What about the way you healed me... won't it work on you Love?" I shook my head "it doesn't work like that, I could heal others but not myself, that's how my gift works." I winced in pain and Kyle grabbed my hand as his eyes looked for mine to see how much pain I was in I shook my head to let him know not a lot.
Liar! My wolf howled in pain
Quite he might hear you! I snapped and then I noticed that I was right because Kyle looked at me with a sly smile.
"Your such a liar." He tried to joke. I punched him in the arm as I laughed "what did I tell you about staying out of my head without permission?" He laughed "what can I say... other than your my girl and I want to make sure you're okay." Lilly laughed as Harry came back and knelt down in the ground as he looked at me "the alpha elders think we should start going, I could stitch her up there and bandage her it will help her self healing process speed it up." Kyle looked at me and smiled, "Okay I'll carry you on my back hop on." He said as he turned to his wolf. As I obeyed we rushed off to their pack place. My pack close behind us.
