Jacan's POV

"Let me go!" I shouted out, punching against the strong forearms that were carrying me. I woke up facing the back of my strong captivator with a pounding headache that wasn't going away. However, I chose to ignore the pain in order to pound my fist against this strong back. "I swear if you don't–!" I stopped talking as the man quickly flipped me so I was now laying on my back on the cold ground. The air left my lungs and I wheezed and rolled around, trying to catch my breath. The knife wound in my leg throbbed and I cried out at the rush of pain from all the injuries that I had.

"Don't tell me what to do," Harry told me through clenched teeth as he stood over me. I groaned in pain and barely felt him pick me up. I gagged at the pain and felt bile rise in my throat. I didn't have time to do much of anything as I was shoved onto my feet and dragged towards a building. We walked through the doors and whoever was holding me threw me so I sprawled once again on the ground in pain.

"Clean him up and get him ready. Make sure he's conscious for the ritual," I heard Harry spoke.

"Ritual?" I asked breathlessly, trying to catch a glimpse at him. However, I was ignored as someone made me stand up quickly. My head swam around too much from the movement for me to be able to look around the building clearly and to figure out where I was. However, I did take in the surroundings of the next room where they had a bathtub that someone with blond hair was filling up with water before quickly leaving. The guard dragging me shoved me towards it and I had to grip the tub lip to stay upright. The tub was large enough for two people to fit inside and I glanced at the guard questionably.

"Don't think I'm going to enjoy this, pretty boy," the guard commented coming over to take off my clothes.

Edward's POV

"Jack, I want to have ten of your men, whoever is willing, to surround the back areas along with five to ten of my men, seen by my captain, whomever you see first. No more than thirty are allowed back there and write down a list of everyone that is going before you head out. Leave it on my desk. When we come back, I want all your soldiers to sign it so I know who's accounted for."

"Yes, sir!" Jack cried, going over to his men and gesturing wildly.

"Ashton, I want twenty of your men to split up and cover the sides. Once again, tell me who all is going on the mission."

"Sir, yes, sir!" Ashton cheered, not failing to put a smile on my face before he took off. I turned to the remaining people, mostly my head men who will tag along on this fight even if I told them not to.

"I will be going through the front. Alexios, Ben, Scarlett, Eric, and Jurak will be accompanying me. Any questions?" That's when protests rose up.

"Sir! You can't expect to go in there without any guards to protect you!" My captain told me. I shrugged.

"I'll be fine. Harry is not one to kill anyone out of spite, otherwise, I'd already be dead. I have a back-up, we can deal with anything they throw at us. If it makes you guys feel better, go ahead and stay outside the front gate and wait for the action to begin, if it even begins. Anyone else?" I questioned, begging no one else to speak up, however, I knew it was going to happen and Alexios stepped forward.

"You can't expect Jurak to come with us! He's a traitor and a–" I cut him off with my hand and glared at him, knowing he was going to protest about Jurak.

"Listen, Alexios, because I know how stubborn you can be and I'm only going to explain this once; I don't know Jurak like you do. I don't know what relationship you guys had or what this betrayal meant to you I just know what I've been seeing. I know Jurak as someone I can trust when it comes to taking care of our kingdoms and a great leader that people respect.
