The infiltration was swift. It didn't take more than a few minutes to solidify the plan and act it out. There were only three soldiers guarding the entrance and they were quickly knocked unconscious. No bloodshed despite us having our swords at the ready. It would cause too much noise to bring guns, so we all decided to have swords. Eric also determined that Harry would mostly use swords, as guns in their kingdom were still pretty scarce and frowned upon.

Alexios, Jurak, Eric, and I made out way into the building. The inside of the building wasn't much but an empty cylinder. What was most noticeable was the pentagram on the ground in white chalk along with multiple candles surrounding it. Additionally, there were two long wooden boxes, sitting behind the pentagram. Only the heavens could guess what was in it. The thought of it churned in my stomach so I turned to glance at the rest of the room. There were two doors inside right next to each other to our right and a staircase behind us, most likely leading to the balcony of the mill. One door was slightly opened to reveal a bathroom while the other was shut. I spun around to tell Jurak and Alexios to investigate the bathroom when the second door opened.

Harry walked out dragging a moaning Jacan behind him by the left arm. Jacan was whimpering as Harry continued to drag him into the room. His eyes were closed and blood ran down his chin and pooled on his chest. Bruises danced across his chest and legs. His face was swollen and his neck had handprints on them. What had he done to my Jacan?

Harry froze as he saw us, his eyes going wide for a split second before he smirked, dropping Jacan to the ground and pulling out his sword. My body hardened and my blood boiled as I watched Jacan's body smack the ground, causing him to moan out in pain but otherwise stay still, eyes still shut.

"Edward! Jurak! Welcome!" Harry sang, his eyes going wide and his arms flinging out to the sides. "It may not look like it, but I have been waiting."

Alexios' POV

"You are to find the most powerful sword in the world and destroy Ericliff once and for all."

The words that Jurak had spoken to me when I was 10 years old came rushing back as I stared at Harry from afar. I then turned to see my brother, his anger and terrified glare transferred from his lover to Harry. And Harry, a wide smile on the creep's face, turned to watch my brother intensely. I couldn't help but also watch Eric who stood beside Edward who, not only portrayed sadness on his face but also vengeance. I then turned to Jurak beside me who stood a little in front of me, as if he were protecting me, a fierce look in his eyes. With this much animosity directed towards the person in front of me, was I truly the only destined to defeat Ericliff? Would my half-assed actions really be the one?

"I suppose we should move this along, right? I have a proposition for you," Harry claimed, moving his stance into a more relaxed pose. "Edward, you be my sacrifice and your precious little boyfriend will have the chance to be free. All I need is-"

"No deal, you psychotic piece of shit," Edward said immediately. "Jacan, Alexios, Jurack, Eric, and I are all walking out of this mill alone, with that sword." I turned to watch my brother and a form of admiration pooled into my stomach as I watched him fight for something -someone he loves. How could I have ever argued with him? He was fighting just like I was and I could only think about myself. Why was I like this?

"Now, now, Edward. That isn't very nice is it?" Harry sighed and placed the tip of the sword on the ground. "Now, what to do. Should I just take you by force?" That caused Jurak, Edward, and I to move into a fighting position. Harry gave a humorless laugh and moved to take a step forward, but Eric moved into his vision.

"Harry, come on, you have to know that this isn't going to work," Eric pleaded. "Please don't make them hurt you, and please don't hurt yourself either." Harry's eyes seemed to darken as he glared at Eric. Eric's face held fear and despair but otherwise, he seemed to be okay. His stance didn't move much but his body did trimmer in fear.

"Stay out of it, Eric," Harry demanded, before smiling again and turning to Edward. "Anyway, I still think my offer is sound. Just exchange yourself for your boyfriend here and everything will be fine!" Edward sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Why are you so obsessed with this anyway? It's not like your parents will come back to life! They're dead, Harry. Believe me when I say this! I've gone through the same things-"

"You know nothing!" Harry interrupted. I jumped, surprised by his outburst. My eyes opened wide as I saw the innate fury present in his eyes. He seemed ready to attack at any moment. My thoughts were made clear when I watched as he pulled out a dagger out of nowhere and held it loosely in his hand, like he was ready to chuck it at a moments notice. My heart beat harder in my chest at the thought and I moved slightly towards Edward. There was no way I was going to let him die.

However, before anything could happen, I watched as a guy stepped out from the bathroom, a gun raised in the air towards Jacan and Harry. Edward gasped and I watched as he stepped forward, reaching for his gun. My right hand came out and I grasped his left forearm, pulling him back as a shot rang out.
