Jeonghan greeted the guards outside and told them who he was, showing them the invitation, them easily allowing him in.

The cold Jeonghan had apparently stayed outside because once he entered the halls, he had a smile plastered on his face. He got into the ballroom, a little nervous now that he saw all the royalty around. Jeonghan was thinking of making friends. Maybe making connections for his kingdom, too. He didn't think he'd see so many princes tonight.

"Is that you, Prince Han?" A young man with cat-like eyes approached the nervous man, looking cheery. Jeonghan turned to face him, looking surprised. "Jisoo? You're more handsome than I remember. How could you tell it was me? I'm sure I look different from when we were younger." Jeonghan's once nervous expression disappeared, turning into a relaxed one. "You looked so nervous, and I remembered how you used to be. Your nervous expression hasn't changed at all, Hannie, I'm glad I was able to reach out to you again." Jisoo took Jeonghan's hands into his, grinning. "Shall I show you around? You arrived just on time."

Seungcheol glanced away to look at the man behind Jisoo. The man notices and nods, Seungcheol nodding back. Even with the man looking almost as fancy as Jisoo, Seungcheol could already tell by his stature who he was.

Jisoo notices the little exchange, "Oh, of course. We should introduce our personal knights?" Jeonghan glanced behind Jisoo, surprised and confused. "You have a personal knight as well? Where?" Jisoo laughed and gestured to the man behind him. "Yes, he's been with me since I was younger, but not as young as when I had met you. This is Jeon Wonwoo." Wonwoo bows and Jeonghan nods in acknowledgement, "He looks young! And is as well-dressed as you." Jeonghan teases and Jisoo rolls his eyes. "This is Choi Seungcheol, just recently assigned to me. You remember what I told you about?" Jisoo looked a little serious and bowed back to Seungcheol after Seungcheol bowed to him. Seungcheol wondered what his prince had told this man about him. How much he knew this man, really.

"Well, you're on time! We'll be having lunch once some of my other guests arrive." Jisoo says cheerfully, grumbling the last part. After he had said that, another fancily dressed man went through the doors, his smile bright and his eyes seeming closed. His cheek was bleeding and he was bringing along with him one of the front door's guards—the short one. Said guard was struggling, the smiling prince having held the back of his armor before lifting him up. How is such a soft-seeming man able to carry a man with layers of armor? in that way especially? "Soonyoung? What..?" Jisoo looked a little worried, but Soonyoung's smile told him not to be. Jisoo saw the scar on Soonyoung's face, his gaze turning to the struggling guard. The guard averted his eyes. Jisoo raised his brow, a stern look in his eyes. "Jihoon. Are you picking fights with royalty again?" Jisoo says wearily, shaking his head and bringing his hand to his forehead, sighing loudly. "I knew that one day you were going to anger one of them and I told you—"

Soonyoung cuts him off, waving his hand in the air. "I don't mind, Jisoo. It's really alright. I just came to ask if I could keep him for a while." Soonyoung said with one of the brightest smiles anyone could possibly have while saying a sentence like that. Jisoo looked exasperated. Jihoon's eyes had widened and he looked at Jisoo with a pleading expression. Jisoo ignores both of them and pushes the curious Jeonghan forward. "Soonyoung, this is Yoon Jeonghan. Prince Han, this is Kwon Soonyoung." Jeonghan hadn't expected the sudden introduction, looking nervous as he bowed timidly.

Soonyoung steps closer to the newly introduced prince after he set the guard down, who had obediently stayed there after Jisoo shot him a glare when he tried to escape. Soonyoung grabs both of Jeonghan's hands in his, his smile still bright as ever. Seungcheol had visibly wrinkled his nose at the interaction. "Jeonghan! No need to be so worried around me. Any friend of Jisoo's is a friend of mine!" Soonyoung pulled out a paper and a pen after letting go of Jeonghan's hands, writing something on it before handing it to Jisoo. "Send me a letter sometime after this event, be it for help in your kingdom or to simply chat!" Jeonghan was surprised how everything moved so quickly. Soonyoung was kind. He was about to speak when Soonyoung did so first. "Well, I won't bother you two any longer. Have fun!" Soonyoung left after grabbing the guard, Jeonghan left stunned.

"Sorry, you must be overwhelmed. Prince Soonyoung is an overwhelming man." Jisoo jokes before placing his hand on Jeonghan's lower back. Of course, Jisoo meant simply to lead the other prince away, but Jeonghan had felt that type of touch was very familiar to him when... He lets out a soft little breath. "Will you still be showing me around, Jisoo?" He asks as he looks at the other man curiously. Jisoo nods, "Just the area around here. I've a plan for this week!" He says happily, "After lunch, everyone will be toured around the kingdom. If I'm to be honest with you, Prince Han, this is the first time I'll have everyone over for a week. It was quite exciting planning this all." Jeonghan smiled fondly, "I'm excited to see what you have in store, Jisoo."

Seungcheol watched them converse, standing nearby Wonwoo with an unreadable expression. He could tell Jisoo was saying many things or "unnecessary rambling" as his prince would call it, but unlike when Seungcheol did so, Jeonghan seemed to look at Jisoo with interest instead of irritation. That hurt Seungcheol only a tad bit.

But what could he even do?
