It was Friday night, and the Avengers had planned a dinner together. Two days had passed since Tony kicked Steve out, yet they still had not told anyone.
"So where's Steve?" Natasha asked, as they sat around the dinner table. Tony looked at Peter, who already had tears forming in his eyes.
"He, um, couldn't make it tonight," Tony said with an uncertain tone. Everyone knew something was up. "Well where is he?"
Peter got up from the table and ran into the other room. Tony did his best to hold back his tears.
"Tony?" Bruce asked, placing his hand on his shoulder. "What's going on?" Tony took a deep breath.
"Steve's gone." That's all he could get out. He continued to munch on his food.
"Wait, what do you mean gone?" All the Avengers began to panic, assuming Steve was dead.
"I mean he fucking cheated on me." The room was silent and Tony began to sob. No one knew what to do or say.
"I'm gonna go check on Peter," Thor said, getting up from his chair.

Peter was laying on the couch, crying into his hands. Thor came and sat by his side. "It's gonna be okay, little one." Peter looked up from his hands.
"U-uncle Thor? I'm scared." Thor wrapped his arms around Peter.
"Listen, I understand that families can be tough. Why, my own brother has tried to kill me on many, many occasions. But that doesn't mean he still doesn't still love me. People make mistakes, it's what they do. Deep down in my heart I know Steve still loves you and Tony. He may have made a mistake, but I know he'll find a way to fix this."
