Harry's headlights coming toward me made me want to hide in the bushes.
Gracie, being the bitch she was, didn't answer my damn calls and Harry was the only other friend I had with a car.
"Well don't you look terrible." He commented, giving me a pity smile.
I could feel his judgy eyes on me.
"God please don't start." I pleaded. I just wanted to crawl into a very deep hole and never come out.
"Get in the car Kay." He sighed. I could tell he was disappointed. I mean, he was right, Niall turned out to be exactly what Harry had painted him as.
Harry was quiet while he drove, occasionally looking over at me. Being with Niall made me forget about Harry, but now, everything I feel for Harry is hitting me like a bulldozer.
"So will you tell me what happened?" He raised his eyebrow, glancing at me from the corner of his eye.
"I let an asshole make my heart go ding." I laughed at myself, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear. I never kiss on the first date but I genuinely thought Niall was....different.
Harry chuckled and reached over to grab my hand, squeezing it soothingly. "His loss." Left his lips. I couldn't deny I felt guilty for wanting Harry the way I did, but it didn't stop me.
"So...gracie?" I gulped, shyly pulling my hand away from his. He tensed up and ran his fingers through his hair.
"What about her, Kay? Jesus I really don't know what you want me to tell you. I like her, she makes my heart go ding." He bit his lip as he spoke about her, something he never did when speaking about any of his exes.
I'd know, I was there for every single ex.
"Okay." I muttered, looking out the window as he pulled into my driveway. I could see my mom's car and I dreaded going inside and explaining why Niall isn't dropping me off.
Niall. He's gonna be tough to forget.
"Thanks for picking me up." I smiled, closing the door to his car.
"What are friends for?" He winked ate and I waved as I saw him park in his driveway.
Being your neighbor sucks, Harry Styles.
"Hey sweetie, how was the date?" My mom's voice sounded like a machete through my skull. I wanted her to zip.
Great mom wonderful, Niall abandoned me on a creepy roadside and told me he only wanted me only for sexual favours. Harry picked me up after I was thrown into the wilderness by my very handsome date and brought me all the way home. Which reminded me of how much I actually still have the most massive crush on Harry.
"It was pretty good."
Pathetic Kay.
