Rewrite part 3:
Bucky soon returned with 3 muffins and a drink each
"Here" He said giving Nat and Zara one each alongside a hot chocolate.
"I love this flavour!" Zara said a she ate the blueberry muffin before she took a sip of her drink
"Wow... so much better than Hydras food" Zara giggled
"You can leave soon, Zara " Steve said as he entered back into the room, seeing Bucky shove the entire muffin down his throat.
"Um" Zara hummed as she looked at him confused before she saw the side glare aimed at Steve
"Regret questioning that one" Zara huffed
"Don't choke " Steve said looking at his best friend with a small laugh
"I won't" Buckys very muffled voice spoke from the amount of muffin in his mouth
"All clear... just keep off the leg as much as possible" Bruce said as he looked at the stitches
"Z, your staying with me for tonight " Nat told her sister as they helped Zara up slowly
"Okay" Zara agreed as she took Nats arm and they walked on their way to Natasha's room. They soon saw Thor as they were on their walk
"Nice to see you again... miss" Thor said, confused on who Zara really was
"This is my sister Thor. Thor meet Zara, Zara meet Thor " Nat introduced the two
"Hello Thor, nice to meet you... you're really tall" Zara said
"Nice to meet you as well, Zara... but thank you?" He said, confused as to what was being said more than anything
"Where are you going?" Nat asked her team mate
"To the kitchen" Thor said and Nat pressed that button and the one to the floor her bedroom is on and the elevator started to move slowly. There was an very awkward silence the whole way to were Thor had to get to and then to Natasha's floor
"And we are here " Nat said as we walked to a room with Nats name on the door next to it. The two walked in and Zara looked around to see the double bed and balcony area.
"It is huge" Zara said as she looked around before she saw a picture and picked it up.
"This is was... I was 2 and we where at that party of your friends. " Zara said as she brushed her fingers over the picture
"Yep. Then when you where 4 and gone.. On your birthday I went up on the roof and sat there with your favorite teddy from your room. It was so heartbreaking to see you gone and me alone but I had to grow up without you... until I left " Natasha said as she smiled weakly at her sister
"I'm sorry Tasha. If I was any older they wouldn't of taken me as easy... I was very vulnerable for a toddler" Zara said
"But your here now" Natasha said
"With you, Bucky and the others" Zara smiled as they sat down on the bed for a while
"I'm gonna go to the balcony to get some fresh air " Zara said and walked out to the balcony and sat on the edge, watching the city down below
"What are you doing up here?" Bucky asked as he walked upto her
"Why are you here?" Zara asked
"I share this balcony with your sister" Bucky laughed as the two sat there for a while
"It is so weird... I have this constant memory of having no memories of my past" Zara huffed as she looked down at her hands
"It is fine... it takes some time to get use to everything" Bucky reassured her
"How did you escape? I mean I have been here for not even 24 hours and I got stabbed by Hydra" Zara joked
"I mean, you are a lot easier to track" Bucky laughed
"Says the dude with a metal arm" Zara said as she rested her head back onto the wall
"You'll be fine Z. Just think, you're home now... you got your sister and a huge amount of help from everyone here" Bucky smiled
"Yeah... I am not use to it all. The thing with Hydra was 'no emotions just actions' and now I'm here it's like... I don't get who I am, what I'm suppose to do anymore... I have no major purpose yet because I just lost the place I considered home for the last 14 years" Zara explained to him as he sat with her
"I understand it Zara... I understand that more than anyone else. I didn't know what to do with myself after Hydra... but Steve brought me here, helped me and now I am... well I am a part of a new team, a part of a family" Bucky explained
"You sound like an old grandpa" Zara teased, wanting to change the topic
"I know" Bucky chuckled
