A week later
Nat and Bucky took the twins and flew out to some country for their honey moon. Zara was with Laura all day as Peter decided to fly out to New York for 2 nights to be with May before bringing her to DC to see her new great niece.
"You okay Z?" Laura asked as she saw Zara caught in her own mind.
"Yeah... I am" Zara mumbled and stood up and walked to Laura
"Aunt Z do you want some food?" Lila yelled from the kitchen
"Sure honey" Zara laughed and Laura laughed. They went into the kitchen and Lila decided that she made a cake decorated pink
"Why is it pink?" Cooper asked as he walked in with Clint
"For the baby before she is born!" Lila explained
"Don't give the poor woman food poisoning" Clint joked and Lila slapped his arm lightly.
"Honey, Lila can cook better than you at points" Laura joked.
"Sadly it's true Hawkeye" Zara laughed
An hour passed and Zara kept wincing at random points and only Laura noticed
"Z... why are you wincing?" Laura asked
"I dont know" Zara lied.
"Stand up" Laura demanded and Zara did and started breathing heavily and crouched a little.
"Contractions... Zara your water?" Laura asked
"About to happen" Zara said and Laura rushed her to the bathroom and into the tub when her water broke
"Am I gonna die?" Zara asked and Laura gave her a look
"I have done it three times" Laura laughed before grabbing some towels.
"Gald I wore a skirt" Zara joked as she controlled her breathing
"Honey... Laura?" Clint yelled
"Bathroom!" She yelled back
"What's happened?" Clint asked as he walked in
"Water has broke... call Doctor Banner" Laura said and Clint pulled out his phone
"Hey um Zaras water just broke" Clint said down the phone and Clint nodded
"So Sharon Carter is your midwife?" He asked
"Yep" Zara mumbled
"Shes 20 mins away" Clint answered and Zara nodded and controlled her breathing again
"You have 24 hours max Z till the baby is here" Laura explained
"Super serum Laura... it is narrowed to 4 hours... apparently" Zara said as she pitched the bridge of her nose
"You will be okay Z, I am here" Laura said
"What about Peter? Nat? Bucky?" Zara asked in a panic
"I'll make the calls" Clint said and left the two women alone.
A hour later
The contractions started to come in every few minutes and Zara got more diluted ready for the baby.
"You're doing amazing girl" Sharon said as she checked all the machines
"Peter is on the next flight Z, but it isnt for another 3 hours so he won't make it for another 5 ish hours by the time he makes it here" Clint said from the other side of the bedroom door.
"Is Nat and Bucky still on their honeymoon?" Laura asked
"Coming back tomorrow" Clint answered and went downstairs to see Nathaniel, Lila and Cooper
"Is Aunt Zara okay?" Cooper asked
"Her baby is about to come... why don't we let the ladies have the house and we can all go play ball in the garden yeah?" Clint suggested and all the kids left to go play outside with Clint
A few moments later a baby cry filled the area. Zaras face was covered in tears and sweat as she held her baby girl for the first time.
"Laura... as Peter isnt here can you cut the cord?" Sharon asked and Laura nodded. Zara didnt care and was focused looking into her baby girls eyes.
A few minutes later Sharon had cleaned up Zara as much as possible and Laura smiled
"Thank you Sharon" Laura said as they both saw Zara just lost hugging her baby daughter.
"It isnt an issue... just the birth certificate then I'll leave" Sharon said and Laura nodded
"What is your daughters name Zara?" Sharon asked
"On the paper" Zara said and Sharon smiled
"Beautiful" Sharon said and filled the certificate in and grabbed her things.
"I'll be over every couple days to see you and the baby... don't leave until tomorrow Zara it is best for you that way" Sharon explained
"Thank you Sharon" Zara said and she smiled
"I'll see you and your little angel in a few days" she smiled and left the house.
"I'll grab you an extra blanket and I'll help you get changed in two hours" Laura said and grabbed blankets out of the unit.
"Mommy can I see Aunt Zara now?" Lila asked Laura
"It is up to how she feels" Laura said and Zara smiled
"Come in sweetie" Zara said and Lila walked in and saw the baby
"How are you feeling?" Lila asked
"Sleepy but I'm okay" Zara smiled
"Dad went out to get your things for you" Lila added and Zara laughed
4 hours later
"Where is she?" Peter asked as he swung up the road to Clints house
"Up stairs with Mom and Lila" Cooper said and Peter ran in and May just pulled up to the house.
"She is sleepy but just awake" Clint said and Peter walked into the guest room
"Hey baby" He whispered and kissed Zaras neck before he peered over her and saw the baby girl with her green eyes looking at Zara.
"You made it" Zara mumbled
"Yeah I did... she is gorgeous" Peter said and Zara shuffled her body and gently picked up her baby girl carefully and placed her in Peter's arms just as May came running in and took a picture of the three unexpectedly
"Hi May" Zara said and May walked over and hugged Zara carefully
"Honey you done amazing! I am so proud of you two!" May said and Zara laughed
"Thank you May... how is everyone?" Zara asked
"Ned and MJ send their hello and will come down in a few weeks, they didn't want to feel intruding" May explained and Zara smiled and rested her head against Peter.
"You okay my girl?" Peter asked Zara
"I am... she is a hungry little girl already... just like her mumma" Zara laughed.
"Nothing wrong with that one" Peter laughed and the baby looked up at them both with her emerald eyes and was just memorizing their faces.
"What did you name her? Peter said you wanted it to be a surprise" May asked
"Angelina Natalia Romanova-Parker" Zara answered
"She is my Angel so I went for Angelina... she can then go by Elina as well if she wants to when she is older... and Nat doesnt know she is the babies middle name" Zara smiled
"Its gorgeous" May smiled and the three sat there with Laura and Lila talking until Zara and Angel fell asleep on Peter
❤ I hope you all like the name of the baby... it was the most sentimental name to Zara I could think of otherwise I would of gone with Larisa Dina May Romanova... which was a handful in my opinion, hope you all enjoy❤
