A few weeks later

Zara finally got herself back to normal, she was spending loads of time with Peter, Athena, Nat and Bucky and obviously the twins too.

"Morning my girl" Peter said as he woke up and kissed Zaras neck

"Morning Pete... wanna go to a nice cafe this morning?" Zara suggested and Peter nodded. The two got up and dressed for the day in some nice casual clothes. Zara placed her curly red locks up in a bun just because she couldn't be bothered to straighten her hair out.

"Hey Z and Pete" Athena said, as she was already in the kitchen making herself some food and Shadow

"Hey Athena, how is the adoptions going?" Zara asked her best friend

"I found a 7 year old girl named Madeline, she is super sweet and a good choice" Athena smiled

"Aww I'm glad you finally found one! Maybe you should go out with her and Shadow this morning? Me and Peter are going for a nice cafe breakfast and walk so you have nothing to do the majority of the day" Zara suggested

"Thanks Z, I will do that" Athena smiled and hugged Zara before she and Peter left.

The two arrived at a nice cafe overlooking the riverside and made their way to the table seated for 2.

"What's it like being back here?" Peter asked realising this was the place he took Zara after they 'died' the first time

"Amazing, I love the smell of the coffee and cakes, the noise of the people and the view and most importantly, the memories of us here" Zara smiled holding his hands and the waitress came over and took their orders. Zara laughed at a joke Peter made before realising there was a woman staring at him
"I am gonna go to the bathroom, there is a girl staring at you and you know how jealous I get" Zara said and left. Peter laughed and smiled at how adorable she is and then saw the woman approach him

"Hi! Peter Parker? Wow its been years" she said and it clicked in Peter's head who the woman was

"Hey Liz, long time no talk" Peter said

"Very long time, so what brings you to DC?" Liz asked sitting down in Zaras seat

"Oh, I'm working here with Tony Stark still" Peter explained
"So you moved out here then?" He asked her

"Yeah, my mom wanted me to move out to DC, it's a lovely place" Liz said with a flirty tone before adding
"We should get a drink or meal tonight and talk" Liz added and Zara stood at the doorway to the bathrooms and heard Liz say that.

"Freaking bitch" Zara mumbled before acting calm and walking upto Peter
"Hey there" she said to Liz

"Hi, Peter who's your friend? Shes not from school" Liz said

"Girlfriend" Zara corrected Liz, making Liz have a 'oh shit' expression but she tried to cover it up with a smile

"Nice to meet you, I'm Liz, Peter's homecoming dance in our Sophomore grade" Liz said

"Cool, I'm Zara, his 4 year long relationship" Zara said bluntly.

"Zara Romanoff?" Liz questioned and Zara nodded
"That's so cool! I have seen quite a lot about you and your sister" Liz said

"I'm sorry what did you say?" Liz asked

"Sorry, I speak Russian sometimes I don't realise it, I said its wonderful to meet you" Zara lied then her and Peter's order came out and Lis stood up and Zara sat back down in her seat.
