Haibara's POV:
I came home late than usual...
I slowly open the door and entered the house of hakase
"Hakase, I'm home..."
I heard a loud noise that, I think, came on the basement, in the lab
'looks like hakase is doing something'
I remove my wet shoes and wear my slippers, then, walk toward the table in the kitchen to put my wet bag on it
As I put my wet bag on the table.. hakase came out and greet me
"Welcome home, ai-chan"
It's really warm to hear someone greeting you when you came home and tired...
Of all...
In just a second or two, I think hakase notice that I'm wet as he asked the question
"What happened, ai-chan?"
and
"Why are you so wet? Did you forget your umbrella?"
and
"I'll get a towel"
Words that I wanted to hear... Words that makes me feel like someone's always there for me...
"No need, hakase..."
A gentle smile form on my face as I feel the warm of hakase's words for me
"... I'll take a quick bath"
As I saw hakase nodded on my words, I walk straight on the bath and open the shower
It reminds me of the moments that happen under the rain...
"I know something's wrong, Haibara..."
I can feel tears slowly form on my eyes as I remember the words that Kudo-kun said...
"... Don't you forget... That we're here for you"
Those words are so warm... Those words are the last words my sister gave to me... Those words are the things that I needed to know that someone are always there for me...
Kudo... Hakase...
Tears started to fall again in my cheeks as I remember...
