"Here, I don't have any guns but I do have a rather nice set of knives, and because this is serious business I busted out the real sharp ones," Aryan handed each of us a knife, each one seemingly as important as the other. "Don't have any guns on me but we can always nab a few from them, though they might end up dead in the process," He shrugged.

"You're okay with killing?" Bert raised an eyebrow at him. "I said so before. My mother was in the military so I was comfortable with the idea of knowing she killed people, and I've had to kill a few people to protect my father a while back. Not that it worked since he did end up dead, but I tried. And to protect people, I wouldn't mind getting blood on my hands," Aryan answered and I was still a bit unsure but I left it there.

"We'll take a while to get to Kuldhara, but we can use my jeep," He said while tying his shoelaces. "While I'm driving, feel free to explain to me what exactly is going on and what brought you here," When he said feel free we all knew he meant we'd have to tell him, but it would be wrong to leave him in the dark.

We all got in the jeep, and Bert took shotgun while I sat in the back with the other girls. Seeing as it was Aryan's jeep, it did seem reasonable for him to drive. "When will someone start speaking? I do like spontaneity but there are times when I want to know what's going on," Aryan spoke. "Right, to sum it up, my sister-in-law, Nicole, is a crazy deranged psychopath who's after me and these three idiots have wormed their way into this so now even their lives are in danger."

"Your life is like a less dramatic version of an Indian soap opera," Aryan chuckled. "Less dramatic? How dramatic could these soap operas be?" I asked. "Very. You don't know the horror, my father loved that bull crap," He sighed.

"Anyway, I'm assuming you all are skilled in combat? How did you guys learn to fight then?" He asked. "Well, I used to work for a gang," "That's so cool!" Aryan's eyes widened. "It wasn't all sunshine buddy," I laughed. "I was taught Kung Fu by my dad since I was a little girl," Anna told and I immediately thought of how cute a tiny Anna would have looked, doing a roundhouse kick with her curls flying everywhere.

"I also worked for a gang, same one as Nyx over there though we never actually met until she was out of jail," Chloe said and Aryan's jaw dropped. "You were in jail! That's so badass! Assuming you didn't do something despicable and it was more so a 'Narcos' kind of deal," He said. "She didn't do something despicable. As for me, I was a street fighter. I took part in a lot of matches that were mostly illegal, but it kept food on the table. I never wanted to take help unless I absolutely had to," Bert said and I turned to face him in shock.

"You were a street fighter! Why was I never told of this? I want a refund!" I gaped at him as he smiled back sheepishly. "Oops?" Was the only reply I got. "Yeah, oops," I grumbled and folded my arms. "Uh oh, we're gonna have to put a halt to our talks here. There's a few of those guys I was talking about," He said and we all quieted down.

He had stopped the car far enough so that we weren't seen, and we split up and hid behind different trees since they were all the cover we had.

I took a second to think before deciding on what to do.

"Surrender," I mouthed to the rest and went ahead, making sure my dagger was tucked away safely and hidden so they wouldn't know I had a weapon. The other four seemed confused but followed me anyway.

"Aryan, check them," A tall guy with a beard ordered. Aryan pointed to himself in confusion before the tall guy groaned. "Not you. This one," the man jerked his gun towards the man moving to check Bert.

"Now," I said once I was close enough to Albus Dumb-as-fuck and stabbed his neck while Bert stabbed the other Aryan in his chest.

"Okay wow. That was fast," Aryan (kid) raises his eyebrows in surprise. "Get used to fast- okay that sounded wrong and not nearly as cool as I wanted," Anna stopped herself.

"Let's just go ahead," Aryan broke the momentary silence we had to mourn Anna's dignity and slowly moved ahead with us right behind him.

"Wait weren't we supposed to be-oh shit," we all were stopped by Minerva
McGona-be-Bitch-slapped, a.k.a. Nicole herself.

"Was it necessary to kill those two at the entrance? I was hoping we could do this more peacefully," Nicole feigned sadness.

"We had to be safe," Anna shrugged. "They wouldn't have killed you. Just brought you closer to death," Nicole tilted her head.

"Right, is she the crazy in-law?" Aryan whispered to me and I nodded slightly. "Who's this?" Nicole asked. "None of your business," I bit the inside of my cheek.

"Oh don't be so bitter," Nicole rolled her eyes. "Why did you bring us here?" Bert folded his arms and asked. "You'll see," another man walked in front of us then. He wasn't too tall, had a lean built, grey floppy hair and a slight stubble. "Hello girls...and girls," he smirked at Bert and Aryan.

"Does everyone on the bad side have the same insult?" Aryan rolled his eyes. "No. I assume you don't know who I am so let me introduce myself. The name's-" "Aditya. I know," Aryan cut him off with a glare.

"You do remember me then," Aditya smirked. "How do you know him?" I asked. Before Aryan could speak Aditya butted in, "Oh this will be a long conversation. I advise you to come with me and let me explain everything," but it seemed more like an order, especially since his men were pointing their guns at us.

"What the fuck are you up to, Nicole?" I snarled at her. "Oh you'll see."
