"Tony, I'm glad you're back at the compound. I don't like the idea of you rattling around a mansion by yourself"

I chuckled a bit because of Steve's humor here. I sighed while I continued reading the letter that I found in the trash bin earlier this morning.

"We all need family. The Avengers are yours, maybe more so than mine"

Family. Do we really need family? I guess I can live on my own. And to be honest, nobody owns the 'Avengers' for Pete's sake. We're a team, Rogers. Not an item.

"I've been on my own since I was 18. I never really fit in anywhere, even in the army. My faith's in people, I guess. Individuals"

I don't think that's the case here Rogers. You perfectly fit in becoming the leader of our team, Captain. And as you have faith in people, I also have faith in you believe it or not.

I continued reading the whole letter and what really made an impact to me was the last lines of his letter to Tony Stark.

"So no matter what, I promise you, if you need us- if you need me-- I'll be there. Hope we can make everything work out someday Stark, I really do hope"

I smiled a little bit, not because of the cheesiness of Steve's letter to him but because of the fact that after everything happened between them, Steve is still a nice and caring guy that I met before.

"What are you doing?" I instantly hide the letter that I was reading a while ago and gave him a smile before answering his question.

"Nothing special. You're up for breakfast?" I asked him, literally avoiding his question to me and went straightly to the refrigerator.

"As if you can cook Romanoff" I heard him saying with a slight-teasing tone in his voice. I look back at him and saw his smirk on his face while having his arms crossed. What a morning, Natasha.

"Back off Rogers! I'm not that bad" I threatened him with my voice but it's not effective. After all, he's Captain America. Jeez.

I finally opened the ref and saw some meats and vegetables inside. There are lots of orange juice and mango juice bottles inside it as well. Hmm, what to cook for breakfast?

"Slightly acceptable to be precise" He said and I heard him chuckling at his comment. This is another side of Captain America, everybody!

"Shut up while I'm still asking you nicely" I said to him without turning my back to look at him because I'm busy finding what to eat for breakfast.

Ugh jeez! Why am I not given a talent of cooking?

"Then take a seat while I'll prepare for OUR breakfast" he said in a voice that's sound-like a 'commanding voice' to me. I stared at him and he just shrugged at me while I went to take a seat in the dining area. Gosh, I hate following his orders especially when we're not on a mission.

Excuse him? I'm Black Widow for God's sake and he can't just--

"Do you eat green peas?" he asked me nicely and I just said no to him. He looks kinda surprised to my answer but he continued chopping something there at the kitchen area.
