Another year another Melon music award this was my first year going as a nominee for something I was nominated for Solo artist of the year which was surprising especially since I was going up against Hyuna and IU (For female reader) or Jay Park and Eric Nam (for male readers) I was lead to my seat by the staff members which was right next to BTS and not only was I next to them but also my bias Namjoon i didn't want to act crazy so I bowed and sat down It was more awkward because I was sat at a table for at least ten people so it looked really awkward, I felt a tap on my sholderand turned around to see the rap line of BTS

"Mind if we sit here"I shook my head Namjoon sat down next to me Suga on the other side and J-Hope next to Suga (yes I ship Sope)

"So are you here as a nominee or are you just going to watch again"

"Suga have a little respect"

"No no it's ok i'm actually a nominee for Solo artist of the year"

"Cool"

The show finally started with the opening song which was coincidentally Hyuna with Lip and Hip or Jay Park with Mommae as there performance went on I felt like it got less likely that I would win next up was my performance as I started to get up not only did Namjoon Suga and J-hope wish me luck but so did the rest of BTS I got on stage I was wearing a black long sleeved crop top with a dragon design on the sleeve and black skinny jeans and wedges(Female) or a loose black T-Shirt with black skinny jeans and black sneakers (Male) the music to my new single called I'm an Albatraoz (Originally by AronChupa) it manly had EDM in it so I had some pretty hard dance moves in it but when I did sing it was full of passion on occasion I looked over at where BTS was sitting they were all interested most of them was interested in my dancing or singing but I could see that Namjoon was more focused on the little things I did like my little hand movement or my glances towards them or my slight tongue movements that not even the camera picked up on after my performance I decided not to change and went back to my seat when I sat down I basically engulfed my water

"You did really good Y/N"

"Thanks" I had noticed that Suga and J-Hope went back to there original seats

"How long did you practice that dance it looked really hard"

"Oh I practiced for about 9 months and thank you" I became more focused when I heard that they were announcing the winners for Solo Artist of the year

"And the winner is Hyuna(Female) or Jay Park(Male)" I relaxed in my seat I wasn't surprised but Namjoon seemed surprised that I didn't win

"Why are you surprised I wasn't expecting it myself"

"I know that you must have worked twice as hard as them especially on those dance moves"

"Namjoon I barely sang it's not that surprising that I didn't win" My eyes widen as I realized that I talked to him informally

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to speak to you informally it just came out-"

"Y/N its ok really don't stress over it and even if you didn't sing that much you still got BTS' vote"

I giggled a little and right there a simple conversation sparked into a good friendship and maybe even more later on
