Miranda and lord Christopher watched as the stallion took its first breath of nature. The mother horse lay tiredly as the stallion struggled for milk.
Miranda was the first to speak,
"isn't this sight beautiful father! I feel reborn."
Christopher smiled as he took her hand and they continued on their way, ",I never got the chance to properly thank you for saving me."
He said.
Miranda was having none of it, she frowned and said quickly,
"father, daughters don't let their fathers die. So enough with the appreciation, all thanks should go to Maria, she made me pursue my dreams and sacrificed everything for my safety." She took a pause and continued. "It was quiet unfortunate that she didn't stay."
"Yes".
Christopher chipped in, " but as long as I live she will forever be in my heart . Come on let's rush over I bet lunch is served already."
Miranda smiled all the way back to the Mansion. She couldn't wait to get back to her mother, she smiled at her stepfather and he smiled down at her.
The sky was a bright orange colour, it was a good day.
