Chapter Four: The Stolen Item

"How did you escape Fritz's eyesights?" asked Sapal.

"I told him I was taking a fly around Heliea, which is about an hour flight, so if there is anything else you need to tell me, you should say it now."

Solstice held out her hand, in it was a crumpled piece of paper.

On the paper was a taped picture with a message:

"Candidate Dane found in a car crash near the Tryan wall next to Wær."

The picture was of the destroyed car.

"Do you remember this?" asked Solstice.

"Yes......I do...." I answered mournfully.

"It wasn't an accident as Fritz and the rest of Heliea wants you to think." Sapal replied. "This is what I stole last year." as he holds up the key to my fathers car. The only thing that was missing from the wreckage site, the keys to the vehicle, and where was it? In Fritz's possession.

I looked up at them. It all made sense now. The running for Emperor. Fritz didn't want a threat for his power, so he had someone wreck his car, with him in it. Fritz couldn't stand someone stealing his throne, so he did it; Fritz murdered my father.
