News spread like butter. Lily Rae, my mother, is marrying my new enemy, Emperor Fritz. This is a joke, right?
The four of us stood on that stage in awkward silence for the rest of the dinner. It's not like we didn't have anything to say, it's that we didn't want to say it. I was so angry at my mother. Why would she do this? I mean, she doesn't know he killed father, but why would she marry again at all? I had no words for her at all. I just had to get away from this table, and fast. Finally, Trinity stood up and dismissed everyone.
After everyone left, and no one was there to see Trinity and I escape, we headed to Yew. Solstice and Sapal were there with the rest of the Cantale rebels, just like the plan.
"Sapal, mother is marrying Fritz."
"What?" he said in utter confusion.
"Yep, she is now a traitor to Cantale. She, along with Fritz, is now wanted for treason against the state of Cantale."
Sapal and Solstice now looked on me to be the leader. They wanted me to be the fair Emperor like my father was supposed to be, before Fritz took that away from him. All of the pressure hit me and I needed to sit down. I am now the Emperor of a country that was demolished by Heliea and is now seeking revenge. Then I realized, it didn't mean anything until we defeated Heliea, but more importantly, Emperor Fritz.
I left Trinity in a hangar outside of the wall. Then, it was war. One final battle, The Country of Heliea against the State of Cantale.
