Shade's ears perked up. Ever since Goth was killed, Shade was able to spend time with Marina some more. They were also able to see the sun. Using echo vision, he flew to the brightwing bat. Marina turned around used her echo vision "Oh! Shade, it's you!" Shade smiled "Duh, it's me!"
" I was wondering where you were!"
"I was trying to get a Tiger moth for you. But it flew away."
"Your too small to get one."
"Quite!" Shade hissed playfully "Anyways... You wanna fly tonight?" Marina straighten up "You wanna try and beat me again?" Shade got ready too. "I'll do it this time."
And they took off. Shade swirled between trees and went into and out with his wing tips shinning sliver
While Marina glided under the moon, dodging every brach in echo stight. Her wings bright in the moonlight.
Just before Marina was about to make it to the river first, she saw Shade smash into a tree. "Shade!" She swooped down at high speeds for a brightwing bat. Shade was about to hit the ground when Marina got the little bat in her feet and flew to a save place.
"Shade?" She shook him. The runt slowly opened his eyes. "What happened? Marina?" She smiled and touched her nose on his cheek. To shade it was like a Kiss. Shade 'blushed' and smiled. Marina took off saying
"Ready for another race, little one?"
