Annabeth's POV

I woke up on the beach remembering the storm, the boat, my fall into the ocean, and the sea green eyes that had saved me. I looked around for anyone else on the beach my parents, a lifeguard, my savior, anyone. I was alone on the beach, with not even the slightest clue of where I was.

"Hello?" I called. I then heard an uneven splash coming from nearby. I followed the sound to a tidal pool where I saw...

"Annie!" Thalia was shaking me.

"What?" I said sitting up abruptly. "Is something wrong?"

"It was just weird, you... you were... you kept saying his name and then you called out." She said looking concerned. "Annabeth, what's going on?" She asked.

"I-I don't know. Oh my gosh! My dream." My mind was putting pieces together. "I think that Percy was the one who saved me, the night my mom died." I said with sudden realization.

"Annabeth, what are you talking about?" Said Thalia looking confused.

"The night that my mom, died 10 years ago, someone had saved me, and I think it was Percy. I had this... dream about that night and... I just don't know how to explain it. But there was something else, I just can't remember it." I said.

"Well, I have no idea what crazy you are spewing out your mouth right now, but we both have the day off and we are gonna go to the beach. I need to relax and you need to calm yourself." She said throwing me a pre-packed bag and pulling me out the door.

Unknown POV

"The girl isn't here."

"Then find her!"

"Yes-yes master Luke."

Percy's POV

"Father " I said swimming into the throne room.

"Perseus, we need to talk about something very important. It seems that you have been up on the surface world quite a bit lately. Why haven't you told be about these visits?" Asked Poseidon.

"Because I... Well why does it matter, I was born up there, what can't I go back from time to time?" I snapped.

"Son, it's not that. There's something else." He said looking slightly hurt.

"We think that maybe you have um..." Amphitrite looked to Poseidon for help explaining.

"What? What's going on?" I asked.

"We think that you have found a mate." My father looked at me, searching for a reaction. Amphitrite looked at me worriedly.

"What do you mean?" I asked, confused. The suddenly, everything came rushing to me at once; the night I saved Annabeth, the morning when she saved me, my constant search for the one I loved.

"You mean that..." I couldn't finish the sentence.

"Yes, you are even showing symptoms, like searching for her and now that she has seen you, her memories of that night will start to come back clear and the mist will fall away." Said Amphitrite.

"You need to find her, if you don't, she is in danger from our enemies and soon your need to find one another will grow and the pain of separation will start." Said my father. I raced off the the surface, only to find a surprise waiting for me.
