Annabeth POV

We entered the bustling war room and everyone stopped to stare at Percy and I as we swam over to Amphitrite, Triton and an older merman who looked a lot like Percy.

"Don't mind them dear, they're just surprised to see Perseus with such a pretty girl." Amphitrite said taking my free hand. Percy blushed fiercely and replied "MOM!" Only to receive a snicker from Triton to whom he gave a glare that would curdle milk.

"Hello Annabeth, I am Percy's father, Poseidon. You were um, asleep when you first came in here." Said Poseidon putting out his hand awkwardly for me to shake it. I took it timidly. "We have work to get done, Luke is out there right now raising an army." I cringed at Luke's name. Percy squeezed my hand comfortingly. We huddled around a map with scale figures placed around it. People started all talking at once moving the figurines as the went.

"He's been gathering telkhine warriors near the Mediterranean."

"Yes, in the Pacific, he's been gathering sirens."

"He's been in the trenches aswell, I've been sensing some of the anchient ones."

"What gods has he on his side?"

"A few of the minor ones that sided with the Titans, I'm not sure."

"He's gathered some emposai aswell along with a countless number of other monsters."

"What do we have in as advantages?" I asked and everyone stopped talking to stare at me. "What are our strengths?" I asked staring back at them.

"We have the Olympians...well, possibly." Said Triton.

"We have the good sea creatures." Said Percy.

"Well there are at least the forge Cyclopes who are loyal." Amphitrite added.

"But is it enough?" Poseidon looked around and his eyes came to rest on me, looking expectantly. Everyone else's gaze followed his until the room was looking at me with expectant eyes.

"W-why are you looking at me?" I asked

"You kind of took charge." Percy said next to me.

"But I don't really know much about war strategy." I said nervously, everyone's eyes were glued on me.

"Well you obviously do now." Said triton with a smirk looking between a me and Percy. I blushed and Percy glared at Triton.

"If I didn't know any better, I would say she was my daughter," a voice came from across the room, all of the eyes that used to be on me turned towards a female figure dressed in armor, standing tall and proud in the great doorway. "Hello Poseidon, though I usually don't interfere with your matters, I thought I might bring reinforcements." She turned and in walked about a dozen more people, just as large and regal as the woman.

"Athena, this doesn't-!" Poseidon started, but was interrupted by the woman, Athena.

"Concern me? My daughter is obviously my concern." She walked up to Poseidon. Wait, WHAT!

"Woah, woah, woah, hold up. DAUGHTER!" I yelled, the Greek goddess of strategy was my mom?

"Yes Annabeth, I am you mother." She said coming over to me. Percy stood his ground, floating just slightly in front of me, but as she got closer, he moved aside and she stared into my eye and I looked in hers. She had my same storm greys eyes which looked at me with concern. Then she did the most ungoddess-like thing ever and hugged me. Triton's jaw dropped. Once we released she turned to Poseidon.

"My daughter is my concern, and you won't stop me from helping you if you want to win this war." She took position at the head of the war table. Poseidon turned to Amphitrite who only tried to hide a smirk as the rest of the people, probably the gods, gathered around the table.

"Now," said Athena. "Let's win this war."
