Farren woke up in a warm bed, that was scented of vanilla. She glanced up and saw Elliot sleeping on a beanbag, with a wimpy blanket. Her mind was busy as she pieced together last night with a smile on her face. A small tap on the door before Marilyn peeped her head into the door, "Elliot breakfast is read- oh hello Farren!"

"We didn't do anything," Farren said in a rushed voice, " We watched movies , and then I fell asleep and um I don't remember what happened after that."

Marilyn laughed, "Sweetheart, trust me, I know my boy and you didn't do anything. Breakfast is ready, you can come down or sleep for a bit longer."

She nodded deciding to stay in bed longer. Instead of going back to sleep Farren grabbed a blue book labeled "All or Nothing" from Elliot's shelf laying in the bed on her right side as she read the small words on the page.

About thirty pages in a small yawn from behind her cause her to turn.

Elliot woke up squinting his eyes at the little reading lamp Farren had turned on. Farren was curled up against some pillows as she read her book quietly. She hadn't realized Elliot was awake until he cleared his throat. Farren's head snapped up to Elliot and she smiled sheepishly.

"Breakfast is ready." Farren stated awkwardly. Elliot stood up and Farren repeated his actions and they both made their way to the kitchen. She immediately smelled scrambled eggs and bacon, and she hungrily grabbed a plate, then filling the plate up. Elliot chuckled at Farren following her actions.

They both sat down and began eating when Thomas skipped into the room, "It's too quiet in here," He stated stealing a piece of bacon from Elliot's plate.

"Hey, go get your own!" Elliot whined.

"Yours was closer though." Thomas giggled stealing another piece of bacon.

Farren laughed and continued eating watching the two brothers argue.

"I still can't find my favorite coffee cup." Elliot said standing up and going through the coffee cup cabinet.

Thomas skipped out of the room because he still sucks at lying. Farren shrugged grabbing a coffee cup that says, "I Hate Morning People" And she filled it up with coffee.

"Oh well I'll just grab this one instead." Elliot shrugged. "Was your book good?"

"Huh?" Farren asked looking at Elliot.

"The book you were reading, Do you like it?" Elliot asked again.

"Yeah it's one of my favorites." Farren smiled.

"Same I read it at least 6 times in 6 days once." Elliot laughed.

"I do that with most of my books," Farren grinned, "Mostly The Land Of Stories because those are my favorite."

"I haven't read those yet." Elliot admitted.

"What! Come on you haven't at least read the back of one?" Farren asked. Elliot shook his head and Farren gasped, "When this snow storm goes away I am lending you all of them, of course I do expect them back."

Elliot laughed, "Okie dokie artichokie."

"What's a artichokie?"

Their heads snapped to the small voice that belonged to Thomas.

"I have no idea Thomas," Elliot spoke shoving a forkful of eggs into his mouth.

"Then why do you say it," Thomas shot back as his mom placed his plate on the table.

"Boys, calm down," Marilyn spoke as the rest of the family sat for the meal.

Farren smiled making small talk with Thomas as she ate. Being at Elliot's home was like a vacation, her home was always so quiet, she never felt so accepted before. Her family's main focus was on Jacob, as he was very successful, Farren had not yet decided what she wanted to be. Her thoughts clouded her mind, and she was very comfortable in her thoughts, until Thomas snapped her out.

"Farren!"

"Sorry, thinking, what," Farren spoke quickly and confused as the little boy snatched bacon from her plate, waving it under her nose.

"Want to play Mario Kart, I swear I can beat the castle map now!"

Farren smiled at him, watching his eyes light up as he turned on the controllers, the little boy gave her joy.

"Of course, Elliot you in?"

Elliot smiled, rolling his eyes, before he grabbed a controller taking a seat next to her.

"Taking that as a yes, you're so going down!"
