I reach for my watch on the bathroom sink and put it on. I am alone tonight, my parents and younger sister are at a football game and my baby brother is getting looked after by my grandparents. All the lights are off in my house except for the kitchen light and bathroom light. I turn the bathroom light off and walk down the hallway to my bedroom.
"The game is on" an unknown voice whispers in my ear.
I freeze. What the hell?!! I'm freaking alone in my house right? I panic and lash out in all directions but my flailing limbs meet nothing. Silence greets me, heavy silence and all I can hear is my own breath. The kitchen light goes off and I'm encased in total darkness.
