Arrow Season 7~ An AU Story

Chapter One

Ricardo Diaz was in the wind for six long months. No one knew if he was alive or dead. No one knew where he was. To terrorize Star City, Diaz recruited the most powerful assassins in the world. He knew they would be perfect at killing innocent people. They were called the longbow hunters.

Komodo was a master at archery and his real name was Simon Lacroix. The second man was named Red Dart; he was armed with trick darts, and the last assassin was Killer Moth, who had many insect like gadgets to use for harming people. These three assassins were so feared not anyone would cross them. They were so terrifying not even the League of Assasssins themselves would ever be able to cross them.

They were in Diaz's new location that no one had known before. He changed his location once he was no where to be seen. He was now in a dark and abandoned area where only him and the three assassins knew about. The assassins were talking with the thug once they all met in there spot. "Did you do what I asked of you?" Diaz asked in his gruff voice in his chair.

"Yes. We did. We killed the girl. This girl was tough. Tougher than most. Honestly, it was harder to kill her than we thought. But we did kill her." Red Dart told him with a smile.

"Good. Oliver Queen will be even more broken now. Was their anyone there with her?"

Komodo replied back to him, "Yes, there was someone. We didn't kill him but he knows about her death. She turned up dead right in front of him. He saw her die."

"I want to see the body of her! To know if you truly did what I told you!" He demanded to them. Komodo and Red Dart signalled for Killer Moth to come in. After he came in the room, he dropped a lifeless body on the ground in front of him with the same evil smile as when he always would kill someone. Diaz looked at the girl's body with two arrows plunged in her heart and a red dart plunged into her side.

Diaz then demanded, "Now, I want you to terrorize Star City! Kill civilians do whatever to ensure the city and Team Arrow wants you all dead!"

Team Arrow was fighting crime as normal with Felicity in the bunker. John had started to wear the hood as Green Arrow taking Oliver's place while he was in prison. He was along side of Dinah, Rene, and Curtis on the roof of a building looking down under as men were coming up from just robbing Star City bank. The team were waiting, and were ready to engage in a fight.

Team Arrow had not been at their best. Ever since Oliver left and went to jail. The team at least tried to get along without Oliver as their leader but he was gone for good.

The team had only just started getting back out on the streets. It took months to get the bunker back. They tried fixing it but it hadn't looked the same as before. Diaz destroyed nearly everything in that bunker.

John finally told everyone to attack the criminals and to get the money back. "We almost got them." John yelled as Dinah canary cried at one man while John shot an arrow at the leader of the group of the robbers as soon as the man pulled out his pistol.

Curtis and Rene blocked the last guy as he was running away with the money into a dark alley. Rene yelled, "We got him cut off. He can not go any farther." Then Curtis knocked the guy out as the police arrived at the scene, ready to arrest the robbers as well as the vigilantes.

John screamed at the others, "We have to move or we will be caught!" They left the money for the cops to see and the team headed their way back to their new bunker.

Back at their hideout, they all were discussing about the police coming to arrest them the third time in a row of going out to fight the crime. "John, it has been three frickin times they have come to the incident to try to arrest us. I thought it would get better once Oliver was in jail. Star City is even more confused since you put on the suit. People are now questioning if they are two Green Arrows." Dinah Drake blurted out in frustration. The woman was tired and cranky from the police always on their tails.

John felt just the same,"Listen, how many times do I have to tell you, I know all of us are in a bad mood since Oliver, our leader of the team has been in prison."

"Hoss, there is a way to deal with this! To get Oliver out! Just get him out! Then everything will be back to normal." Rene yelled to John across the room. "Have us all break him out of Slabside Maximum Prison!"

"We have been over and over this. I have told Oliver that we will get him out and you know what he said?! He said it would be too dangerous to break him out of prison! He said guards are all over that place!" Felicity told her team trying to hold in sadness of never having Oliver back. Never to be held in his arms again.

John sighed, "even if we would come to get him, we probably will all get caught. Then we would all be in jail."

Felicity stood up leaving her chair by the computers while calming herself down by telling the team, "I need to visit him. In jail he is and will always be lonely. He is never coming back here guys and every time you all go out there; it reminds me even more." Felicity felt as if she would die of grief and pain from just the thought of never seeing him outside of that prison.

She hurried out of the bunker before anyone ever noticed her teary eyes, fear and saddened face. They all turned to watch her leave and looked at each other with almost as sad of a appearance as Overwatch.

Back at Slabside Jail where Oliver Queen had been held, Felicity arrived to speak with him. The two met up with each other as usual where both sit facing each other with a glass wall between them, talking through a phone. Oliver spoke first with a smile. Every time he saw her come it made him feel very overjoyed. "Hey! How is the team? I heard on the news that there was an incident where the bank was robbed. Did they take care of it?"

Felicity smiled back to him while answering, "Yeah. The bank got their money back. The team is doing okay. Today was the third time the police tried to arrest us. We are getting tired of it and you not being there is making us all frustrated." She paused for a moment, then strong emotion filled her voice. "Oliver, we all really miss you. I know it has been only six months since you were brought in here but... It feels like a life time!" Tears ran down her cheek as Oliver tried to comfort her.

"Hey, listen; it is going to be okay!" Both of them stared in each other's eyes. After crying a moment, she decided to change the subject. They talked of the team a few minutes and then ended with a goodbye. Finally, Felicity left to go to her apartment to see her step son, William.

She knocked on the door of her residence and William opened it. "How is dad?" He asked in his calm voice.

"He is fine, William. Your father is fine."

As she came in to put her things down on the kitchen counter, she heard him say, "Can I see him? I want to see him."

Felicity replied to him with a hug, "sure. Both of us can visit him again tomorrow."

"Felicity, I miss him so much and I so wish he was here with us right now." William broke down in a soft cry as they both held each other.

Oliver was not there. To them that was the worst feeling of all. Their family would be forever broken because they would never see their husband and father outside of that prison.
