Selina's P.o.V.
I woke up through a door slamming.
"Selina we're back!" That was my mom. I groaned, looking around slowly. Shawn was still asleep, his arm wrapped around me tightly. I couldn't even remember that I fell asleep.
Slowly unwrapping Shawn's arms from my body, I sat up. My clothes were still on completely, nothing happened. Not that I thought something could with Shawn. But I also didn't with Daniel. Taking a deep breath, I slowly got up and walked downstairs to greet my family. "Good morning, you are home early", I hugged my little brother and picked him up. "Yeah, we left earlier than planned since it didn't stop raining at all", my dad answered. "Oh okay..cool", I smiled lightly, hearing footsteps behind me, which could only mean that Shawn was awake. "Shawn, I didn't know you would be here, good morning", my mom was quick to see him, looking a little shocked in the first place, but played it off with a smile. She liked Shawn anyways.
"Good morning", he smiled, still looking a little sleepy. "Yeah, it was kind of a surprise visit."
His eyes met mine and I smiled lightly. "We're gonna go upstairs and change, would you mind making some breakfast for us?", my mom looked at me and I shook my head, carrying my brother with me into the kitchen. "Any wishes?" "Pancakes!!", my brother squealed and I nodded, placing him onto the counter to get everything I needed. "Are pancakes okay for you, too, Shawn?", I asked, smiling lightly. He looked up from his phone and nodded. "sure, pancakes are always okay", his smile seemed to light up the room and I was so thankful to have this man with me right now. I've done so many things wrong with him and he still stood by my side, treating me as always. This soul needs to be protected by all costs.
I sighed to myself, starting to mix the dough. I kept a small smile on my face, hanging after my thoughts while the dough started to form a proper pancake in the pan. Daniel sneaked into my thoughts every once in a while although I tried to avoid that as much as possible. My parents would go crazy if they ever found out about what happened to me. "Well this pancake got pretty dark, are you sure it's not burned yet?", Shawns voice brought me back and my view landed on the almost burned pancake in the pan in front of me. "Shit shit shit", I mumbled cursing, placing the pancake on the plate next to me quickly.
"Shiiiiiittttt", my brother squealed and giggled. I shook my head lightly. I started making new pancakes, this time really focusing on them and putting the ready pancakes on a plate. "What do you want on top?", I turned my head to Shawn, my eyes widening when our lips almost touched. Why did he have to be this close?? He stepped back quickly. "I don't really care, probably just some sugar." Trying to hide my blushing face, I turned away, letting the hair fall in my face. "Only sugar? Do you live behind the moon??", I couldn't help but giggle a little, seeing him smile as I watched him from the corner of my eye. "Probably, what would you put on top??"
"Well, you can do it like my brother and use chocolate sauce or like I do and choose syrup", I turned to him again, smiling lightly. "I'll have to try both then, I guess." "Sounds like a plan", I walked past him, placing the pancakes on the table and filled the plates for everyone. I got the syrup, sugar and chocolate sauce as well and picked up my brother. "Sit down, Shawn, I'll get my parents", I told him, placing Timo on his chair.
