Shawn's P.o.V.
Selina still hasn't said anything, only the sobs and whimpers escaping her mouth. I slowly got up, holding her close to my chest and carried her inside since it was getting colder.
I brought her to her room. "Where are your parents?", I asked softly, patting the dog softly.
"Montreal with my brother", she whispered under sobs, curling up in her bed as soon as I laid her down. I wasn't sure if I should lay down with her or give her a little time to calm down from her crying so I sat down on the edge of her bed, only for her to reach out and pull me down.
"Please don't leave, I'm so sorry", she whispered and hid her face against my neck. I got goosebumps from her warm breath touching my skin and wrapped my arms around her. "I promised I would be there for you, Selina. I won't leave you", I said quietly, brushing through her hair with my fingers.
We laid in her bed like this for quite a while, I was definitely enjoying her presence after not having her for me for so long. Selina slowly calmed down, not sobbing as much as before yet she was still a crying mess. Her eyes puffy and red, so her cheeks.Still beautiful, though. I took a deep breath and softly stroke over her cheek, wiping away her tears with my thumb and pressed a soft kiss on her forehead.
"He tried to force me to have sex with him", I heard her voice mumble against my neck.
"What the actual fuck?!", I breathed out, stiffening a little. "I'm going to kill that asshole!"
Her grip got tighter around my chest, pulling me closer. "Please just stay with me right now", she whispered and I slowly relaxed again. "I'm sorry he did that to you", I answered her.
I turned off my phone, the light snd softly turned around to face her. "Get some rest, you really need it", I whispered. "I can't, I remember everything as soon as i close my eyes...I just wanna forget", her voice cracked as she looked into my eyes. I could barely see her in the dark, only the light moonlight shining through the window lightening up the room.
"I'm here, I won't leave. No one can hurt you", I said, stroking over her cheek, not feeling any more tears. She finally stopped crying.
"Thank you, Shawn."
