don't you think
it's time for me to
finally wake up from
this never-ending nightmare
don't you think i've
suffered enough
don't you think that it's
finally time for me
to move on?

i've learned so much more
from those people that i surround
myself with
with each of them that has
their own story to tell
each story that has a different
ending maybe even
multiple endings
i've finally learned how to properly
nourish the flower that was rooted in me
to the core
i've been taught that
we all would fall
wilt and rise
before we bloom once
again

some may want to end their
story albeit a bit too soon that they
rip off the pages in their book that it's left a lot of missing pieces
and plot holes in their unfinished story
the flower that was once close to blooming
suddenly whithered away
as the apparent end to their story
was never fulfilled

the honeybee learned to kiss
my flower on the front instead
of going for its leaves
