Chapter 21

Naruto was approaching a large building outside of a small town of about 1,000 people. As he was walking toward the building, he was thinking about what happened when he was talking with his uncle

"Zeref?" asked Naruto

"Yes... that name sounds familiar to me though, I feel as if I heard it somewhere," replied Orochimaru

"It does ring a few bells in my head, but I can't quite place it," said Naruto as he felt a tug in his head. He let the tug pull him and he found himself in the mindscape, with Gildarts and Bluenote looking at him "You called?"

"Yes we did, it's about Zeref," said Gildarts

"Yes, he is far more powerful than any of us combined... it would be best if you stop this cult following now before anything gets out of hand," said Bluenote

"I see... but I feel as if he's connected to them somehow," said Naruto

"More than you think, especially Natsu," said Gildarts

"How so?" Naruto asked as Gildarts put a hand on his shoulder

"That's another story for another day, but right now you need to get rid of those Zeref followers... so we'll talk later, okay?" he said with a smile

"Sure... and where's mom?" asked Naruto

"She's outside of the seal... in your house... looking at your clothes," said Bluenote as they sweatdropped

"Typical mom, always making sure that I'm looking his best," said Naruto as he found himself back in the real world. Naruto looked at Orochimaru and said "I'll leave immediately,"

"Alright, I'm labeling this as an S-Rank mission for the extermination of a cult following and rescue of any survivors... now go!" said Orochimaru as Naruto smirked and turned into lightning. Orochimaru looked at the rest of them and smiled "Well since I have nothing better to do... I feel as if I'm obliged to do Naruto-kun a favor, so celebrate because I'm going to be training you while Naruto's gone,". When Orochimaru said that, they all got shivered down their spines.

Naruto approached the side of the building and used his magic to reduced the whole wall into cubes

"WHAT THE HELL?!" shouted a cultist

"WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO THE WALL?!" shouted another one

"I've come here to exterminate you all, now give me all you got," said Naruto as three started to perform hand-signs

"FIRE STYLE: DRAGON FLAME JUTSU!" they shouted as they launched a giant dragons head made of fire at Naruto. Naruto extended his arm and the dragons head was reduced to nothing. Naruto spread his legs and said "Lightning Dragon's Roar", shooting out lightning from his mouth and killing many of the cultists aside from the three that attacked him. More cultists appeared out of nowhere and shouted "FIRE STYLE: GRAND FIREBALL TECHNIQUE!"

"WIND STYLE: IMMENSE BREAKTHROUGH!", sending giant fireballs at Naruto. Naruto crossed his arms and several magic seals appeared in front of him. When the fireballs hit him, it caused a large explosion and the cultists looked at one another. One said "Well he wasn't so t-" before they heard "SWEEP AWAY THE DARKNESS, RAIN OF LIGHT!" and dozens of rays of light came down on them. The smoke cleared and there stood Naruto, unharmed. A cultist looked at him and saw a demonic glow come from his eyes as shadows came down over his face. All the cultist could see was his eyes.
