_____________

Another terrible day with noisy teenagers running through the halls not giving a fuck about their surroundings. Some asshole almost pushed me and my 'dodge the teen' maneuver caused me to spill some of my tea on the floor. Yes, tea, because I ran out of coffee - another reason to be bitchy.

Second period was the only interesting class of that day. I had some sophomores for music and one person, in particular, stood out in the class.

"You, what's your name?" I pointed at a boy who I was sure was the kid that made me spill the tea. But he completely ignored me as per usual. I noticed he had earphones on, meaning detention for him.

"Taylor." Some girl said. I turned around surprised.

"Is he deaf or just retarded?" I asked her and she laughed. Her voice was so pretty, I knew why she was in music for sure.

"Definitely the second option." She said and the whole class laughed. I liked being an asshole so I filled the detention slip for him and gave it to the girl to explain to him why he was being put in detention in the first place.

"And you, ginger, what's your name?" I asked her so I could remember her name, I actually really liked her. She was a rebel for having part of her ginger hair pink in this fucked up school that judged you just for not having a particular brand of shoes or wearing more than one piece of black clothing.

"Hayley." She said still smiling widely. Hayley from Sophomore. I was sure to remember that.

"I like you, Hayley." I smiled and went back to my desk. "Why can't all girls be more fun like you." I mumbled shaking my head and even though I had my back turned to the class, I could hear one of the 'little bitches' huff in annoyance.

Days after that were a blur, the school started running quickly and I actually had to start teaching and plan some tests for my students. Luckily I still had time for Frank in between, even though we still had those limited hours.

Every day after school I managed to visit Frank at work and some days he had time to come over. I complained about wanting to see him more and he happily promised to spend the weekend at my place again.

Regarding my job, it was starting to be awfully boring, repetitive and some people were worth becoming a serial killer, but a few students were actually making my days better. For example Hayley from Sophomore and Beeb the Princess. They were both really smart and had their head in the right place and even though Princess is very childish and acts like he lost his Adderall on purpose he is really great to talk to.

We met a few more times in the bushes for a quick smoke. He opened up a bit when I mentioned students that don't know shit about music. He told me that he plays piano and guitar and recorded just a few songs with his friends from different school. He promised to show me some of their work. I always love when young people have ideas and make them into something bigger.

That week I met another interesting kid in my music class. He is weird for sure, but the thing he said when I told him to collect some papers left me thinking for a few hours. I still don't remember all names so I looked briefly into the attendance and picked a name. I forgot that there are some people who have the same name so when I said Tyler the kid looked up and asked which one. I panicked and said you and he got up quite annoyed. He collected the papers and gave them to me. I asked why he was upset because I felt bad for him. He looked like a hurt puppy.
