Peter and Michelle

A crush? And team Spider-Man?

                     "So, you and Michelle has detention because of this jerk" Ned stated. "Yeah pretty much" Peter replied, hanging upside down from his bunk bed. "How did Michelle act after" Ned asked , flooding Peter with another question. "She wasn't mad at all, She just said that she can handle herself" he replied hopping off his bed on to the ground. "Wow that's surprising" Ned uttered. "Yeah I know" Peter said sitting beside him, "she's been acting weird lately. I really cant explain it" Peter whispered closing his eyes.
               "Yeah and she's been dressing a little better, and doing this new skin thing. I think she has a little crush on someone" Ned states.
             Peter didn't know why, but it kind of made him sick thinking about Mj with someone else.Some guy hugging her, or even worse kissing her. He didn't like the thought of her being hurt by someone. He didn't want things to change. He liked walking her to school. Or secretly watching her walk home to make sure she safe, as he swings through the city as Spider-Man. Or hanging out on Friday nights watching movies.
"Hey man I'm gonna get going. I still need to get ready, see ya tomorrow brother" Ned said starting off our handshake. After that he got up and left.
This All made Peter think! did he really not realize the change in Michelle? Is he really that bad of a friend? He only knew one thing, he needed to watch Michelle.

    That's exactly what Peter did. Every single class they had together, he only watched her. It didn't really change much, he watch Michelle everyday. He loved watching her......in a non creepy way of course.
The one thing he noticed was Michelle wasn't pulling off her natural look today. She was wearing Foundation and Mascara. Michelle would never wear makeup other than the bet she make with Ned. And even then he could tell she was uncomfortable.
So when the teacher asked to get a partner, Peter had no hesitation to partner up with Michelle. "So what's up with the makeup Mj" he asked writing his name on his worksheet. "Oh you noticed" she laughed out, as she turned her head to face him. "It was kind of hard not to notice" Peter admits. "Is that a good or bad thing" she asked getting worried. She quickly grabbed a small mirror to see her mistakes. But before she could look in the mirror Peter grabbed it.
"No you look beautiful, but you look beautiful every. So why are you wearing makeup? Are you trying to impress someone" Peter asked, kind of sounding needy. It didn't really bother Michelle at all. She loved to know that he cared. "Why do you care" Michelle said with a smirk on her face. She was trying to enjoy this moment between them. Because she secretly likes him. And the only reason she was wearing this crap, was because she saw the way he looked at her when she did that stupid bet. She's just glad she doesn't have to put this stupid crap on her face anymore.
"I don't care, I just thought you were trying to impress someone. Or something stupid like that. But I think you look fine without that crap. And if Im being honest I don't feel safe letting you walking around, while weirdo's like Flash stare at you" Peter said feeling a big brick lifted off his shoulders. "Oh ok" Michelle said trying to hide her smile. "How about we start this project" Peter said trying to change the subject.
Michelle was stubborn and she wasn't going to let him go that easy. "So, you think I'm beautiful" she asked in a serious tone. "Michelle you know the answer" Peter whispered, feeling stupid for saying that earlier. "I know I wanted you to say it again. You are the first person to tell me that Peter" she admits. He just stared at her in that moment, he couldn't help it. She was beautiful, he loved her. He would do anything for her, but if he told her that it would ruin their friendship. And looking back at what happened to Liz and him, he wouldn't want to risk it with Mj. He loved he way to much to lose her that way, over how he felt.it wasn't worth it, he would rather suffer.
"I am" he asked. "Yeah"she said finishing the worksheet. "Oh" ,And with that they sat in a comfortable silence until the class was over.
They both slowly walked to their lockers. " have you heard of that new villain in New York" Michelle asked while opening her locker. "Oh yeah that shadow man, I've heard about him. But I really don't have to deal with him" Peter lied.
"Oh good" Michelle mumbled, "because I heard he's dangerous".
"His ability's are impressive. One time I tried to web him but he sinked into my shadow. It was amazing! I was so surprised" Peter beamed. "But I thought you didn't have to deal with him" Michelle asked questioning him. "I never met him , I meant he is impressive from what I heard" he said lying again. "Peter I thought you were done lying to me" Michelle said, slamming her locker. "I didn't want anyone to worry" Peter simply stated as he walked away. "Don't think this conversation is over loser" Michelle said following Peter. "Never thought it was. It's never over with you Michelle" Peter stated, joking around with her. "Shut up Peter"she while catching up with him.

"I want to help" Michelle said as she sat down at the lunch table. "No" Peter simply said, " you could get hurt". "Ned does this crap all the time , how bad could it be" Michelle asked. "Yeah, and are you implying that you done care about me Peter. Because if so dude that hurts" Ned asked. "Fine but you help Ned, and you only do what Ned does unless it's dumb" Peter said giving in.
"Yes" Ned and Michelle said as they give each other a high-five. "Meet up tonight so we can catch this man, and done be late"Peter whispered so no one could hear him.
"I knew team Spider-Man was a thing" Ned stated with the biggest smile on his face.
