Ughhh I am so tired! I thought I was gonna sleep through today because it's just another Luckyless day here at the Conjunction house. My phone started ringing and it was my mom. I quickly picked it up because if I don't pick up her calls, I'm dead.

"Hello?" I said, answering the phone.

"Hey Ray!" She exclaimed.

"Hey Ma!"

"So I have someone that I want you to meet." She cooed.

"Ma!!" I whined. I know her tricks. Is she really going to do this after I just buried the love of my life. I never knew my mother could be this cruel.

"It's just going to be on a friendly basis." She assured. Bull!

"Mom, my girlfriend DIED a few weeks ago and now you want me to start dating? Can't I at least mourn her for 6 months to a year before I even go back to dating!?!"

"Rayan, this girl was homeless and was about to die. She didn't eat for more than five days and she doesn't know anyone else but me! She needs a friend her age and you're just about her age."

"Okay, I'll go." I sighed. "But that's only if I can bring my friends with me."

"Sure baby. The more the merrier."

"Okay Mom, I'll tell my friends. I'll see you at what time?"

"6:30. Don't be late."

"Alright Mom, see you then."

"Bye Ray!"

"Bye." I said before hanging up.
