Its been almost two weeks and Justin has already moved on.But who am I to talk?Im the one who cheated.
He's dating Jessica Davis now.I mean it makes sense.She is prettier, smarter, nicer, and probably more loyal than I am.
They're going to the winter formal together.Which I mean is nice.Im happy for him.Im glad he's with someone better.
I can't say I'm not jealous, because I am.And I can't stay I don't miss him, because I do.But it's also my fault that he's gone.
I don't have a date to the winter formal.In fact, I'm not even sure if I'm going to go.Its not like anyone's going to ask me.
It was lunch and I was sitting by myself once again.Hannah was sitting with Clay and I didn't want to interfere.Jeff was with his girlfriend.And other than them I don't have any other friends.Im a complete loser.
I was looking down at my phone when I felt someone sit down.
"Hey, Vi"Monty said.
I looked over at him and he was smiling.
"Uh, Hey?"I said awkwardly.
"Why are you sitting by yourself?"He asked.
"Because no one likes me"I told him and he rolled his eyes.
"I like you"He said.
"I miss you, Monty"I said and he smiled really big at me.
"You do?"He asked.
"Of course I do.You were my best friend.We use to be inseparable.Then things just got fucked up-"
"Because Of fucking Justin"He said cutting me off.
"I don't know, I just miss you"I told him.
"I miss you too"He said.
"Wanna come over after school?"I asked.
"Hell yeah"He said and I chuckled.
"Oh, and I haven't watched any episodes of glee, I've been waiting for you"I said and he smiled.
"That's very sweet of you, Violet Baker.But I'm afraid to say I've already watched a whole season"He said I gasped.
"Monty!"I said hitting his arm.
"I'm sorry!I couldn't help myself!"He said.
"You're so gay"I laughed and he scoffed.
"The fuck You mean?You watch it too"
"Well I'm a girl"I said.
"That's Just racist"He said And I raised an eyebrow.
"Whatever you say, Monty"I said deciding to just go along with it.
"Oh my fucking god, guess what?"
"What?"I said.
"Okay So you know that day me and Justin got into that fight and he actually thought he was going to win?"Monty said and I nodded.
"Okay.Well they called my fucking dad!And he actually came up here!"Monty said my mouth dropped.
"Are you serious?"I said.
"I'm deadass.And like he pulled me out of the office by my goddamn ear"He said.
"Wow, that's crazy"I said and he nodded.
"He's been pissing me off so much lately.Like he's been asking about you.Saying shit like 'where's your bitch' 'your little slut hasn't been around in a while' and so I punched him and he hit me in the head with a fucking lamp and it broke"He said and I gasped.
"I'm so sorry, Monty.He's so terrible"I said shaking my head.
"I just can't wait until the day I move out"He said and I nodded.
"Don't you think you should tell someone about this?"I said And he looked at me like I was crazy.
"Fuck no"
"Why not?"I asked.
"Because I'm not going to be a fucking foster kid.I can deal with my dad for 2 more years"He said And I sighed.
"I just hate seeing you hurt"I said.
"I can take it"Monty told me.
"But what if one day you can't?"I asked.
"Then at my funeral you can tell me 'I told you so' "He said with a smirk and I pushed his arm.
"That's not funny"I said And he started chuckling.
"I love you"He said and my heart started to race.
"And I'm not just saying it to say it.Like Justin, but um that's none of my business.Im saying it because I mean it.You mean everything to me, Violet.You're not just my best friend, you're the love of my life.You're the only one I've got.The only one that actually cares about me.And if you just give me a chance I promise you won't regret it"Monty said.
"I love you too, Monty.But I don't want this affecting our friendship"I said.
"It won't!I pinky promise"He said holding out his pinky.
I smiled before doing the same thing.
"Okay.But I don't want to rush into things.I want to take things slow for now"I said and he nodded.
"Whatever you want"He said And I smiled.

"Oh, this part is good"Montgomery said before shoving popcorn in his mouth.
"This next part coming up is crazy!They don't even win sectionals"Monty said And I was triggered.
"Stop telling me everything idiot"I said.
"Sorry, sorry"He said And I shook my head.
"Oh my god!Can you believe they didn't win sectionals?!"Monty gasped acting like he didn't already know.
"You're so annoying"I said with a laugh.
"You're just mad because you wish you were as annoyingly cool as me"He said and I scoffed.
"Yeah right"
