still standing

she stands in place

she has complete capability to move

but she won't

she just stands there

on her two feet

waiting for a reality that is yet to arrive

she is being stood up 

while she is standing there

and she's been asked to have a seat

but she continues to stand 

as tall as her pride 

convinced that this dream will soon arrive 

and she stands, unmoving

and she stands, still waiting
