I never really know how to feel
All these wounds trying to heal
And feigning happiness still
None of my friends are real
All these guys wanna steal
My heart, but they kill
Me inside
There's nowhere to hide
In the view of your mind's eye
You're paralyzed
As the scene plays out
I'm terrified
You'll run no doubt
You're mortified
I'm no Girl Scout
I'm horrified by
The things I've done in the past
Hope these feelings won't last
Time moves slow then fast
Life's a movie, you weren't cast
Hate the system, it's caste
You looking, but the view ain't vast
No one to tell, can't snitch
Needle and thread for the wounds
That you stitch
Why you gotta be a bitch
It's like there's a glitch
In your system
Shoot your shot
But you missed em
Wanna reach out
Cause you missin
You say something dumb
You get pissed then
Surrounded by snakes
And they hissin
Stay standing in place
But you tripping
Gotta get away
Take a trip then
You always talk
No one listens
Stand in the sun
Then you'll glisten
You feel the same
But you shifting
Boys steal hearts
Like shoplifting
No car, no friends
Get a Lyft then
Tryna build a body
Get to lifting
Spilled all this tea
Call Lipton
Could go to Boston
Stay at Tipton
Looking for advice?
Here's a tip then
There's no treasure
Stop sifting
