Michael can't help himself when it comes to Calum, even when he wants to say no he can't. He might avoid him for a while but it's like Calum is his drug and he keeps relapsing everytime.
The nights before are always the best, it's like Michael's on cloud nine. Calum shows his love and affection, needing Michael but then in the morning it's all different. Calum's a different person not showing any affectionate emotions towards him, ignoring Michael's loving.

"why are we doing this" Michael said panting slightly.
"what do you mean?" Calum questioned turning his head towards Michael.
"us, fucking, I love you Calum, I told you this before. I come over, we do this but then in the morning it's like it meant nothing"
"I... you know why Mikey" Calum sighs.
"God Cal, I know OK..I fucking know. Just, why can't you just give us a try" Michael said frustrated.
Calum didn't say anything just kissed Michael's cheek then rolling over. Michael sighed wrapping his arm around Calum's waist.

Michael would try and make plans with Calum during day. Most times Calum would say no but when he did, he had a great time with Michael but he wouldn't deny that.
But, when Michael would try and do something he would either turn his head or pull his hand away. Michael never understood that, all Michael wanted was for Calum to admit he was in love and it was OK.
I can't keep sleepin' in your bed, if you keep messin' with my head. I can't keep feelin' love like this, it's not worth temporary bliss
Michael couldn't take the feeling of his heart breaking anymore. The more he got rejected by Calum, the more his heart shattered into pieces. He just wants Calum to see that loving someone doesn't always lead to heartbreak.
Even though Michael loved the feeling of being with Calum during the night, it wasn't worth the pain he was feeling now. So, he made up his mind that this was the last time he would ever go back to Calum, unless he choose what he wanted.
This is the last time, baby make up your mind
It was the morning after and Michael was making his way to the door before stopping and turning towards Calum.
"I won't be back" he said, Calum was about to say something, but Michael held up his hand signaling that Calum shouldn't say anything.
"I won't be back because I'm done fucking around, getting my hopes up only to be let down every morning. You know how I feel about you but you keep fucking with my head and I can't do it anymore. Unless, you can let go of your pass and let me love you. If not then this is goodbye, so what's it gonna be Calum?" Michael waited anxiously, hoping that he would get the reply he wanted to hear.
"uhh umm.." Calum paused biting his lip. Michael thought this was it, so he turned to leave.
"stay" barely a whisper but Michael heard it and he couldn't be more happy. He turned around, walked towards Calum pulling him into a meaningful kiss, which Calum quickly responded to.
"I..uhh..I-i love you Mikey" Calum said genuinely smiling at Michael.
"I love you too Cal, never forget that"
