Part 7

                       (Lani's pov)

   I wake up in Carl's arms with him sound asleep. Slowly sitting up without waking him I open the bathroom door quietly. I step in leaving the door open a crack because Landis hates the dark. I slip my jeans off and change into another pair, along with my shirt. I get the shirt stuck on my bra and I feel someone fix it for me. I turn to see Carl staring at my body.

   I slowly pull the shirt down eyeing him weirdly. He realize hes staring and looks down embarrassed. "Sorry you looked like you needed help" he says. "Well thank you Carl" I say walking out of the bathroom. Why is he embarassed i'm dieing inside because i'm very embarassed.

   I walk out of the room after that and sit on the side walk. A presence apears next to me and its Carl. "I'm really sorry...." He trails off. "Its fine and thanks for last night" I say looking at him. He pulls me into a hug and I rest my head against his chest. "I'm still tired" I say whining. He laughs and throws me into the car. "Well get comfortable I'll be back in a minute and you can sleep with me tonight" he says and walks back inside.

   I wait for a while till I see everyone pilling into the cars. Carl comes out with pillows and blankets. I smirk and he jumps in and lays it on his lap. He pats it and I lay down while he covers us both. I slowly fall asleep.

                   (Carl's pov)

   We come to a stop and Lani's still asleep. I get out to see whats going on and I can't believe my eyes. I run to her as fast as I can and she jumps into my arms. "Hana! I can't believe we found you" I say so quick.

   "I know i'm so happy to see you" she says. "Well good to see you Hana but lets get going" dad says. I grab her hand a lead her to a random car and we get in and start talking.

                      (Lani's pov)

   I wake up and feel no one next to me. I sit up and turn to Michonne, who looks sad. She points to the car in front of us and I see Carl and some girl hugging and laughing. "Whos that?" I say trying to play it off cool.

   "Thats Carl's friend from school, Hana. We found her on the road awhile back" shes says. A pain hits me in the stomach and I sit back, im jealous! I never was the jealous type but this world does change you. And Michonne did know I liked Carl. "Oh" was all I could say.

   We drive for many hours till we stop and set up camp. I stay in the shadows away from the group. "I'm taking Lani with me to hunt!" Daryl says. I look over at Carl and hes still holding Hana not acknowledging that im here. I walk over to Daryl and he leads me out.

   "Lani I know whats wrong, so dont play dumb...." Daryl says.

   "I know its just he literally doesn't know im here anymore. I know its his friend and all but you know I liked him" I say looking down regretting what I just said.

   "I knew you liked him, and I would say its rude what he did to you to just leave you there. And im sorry but lets get some dinner for us" hes says quietly.

   We both kill a deer with our bows and drag them back. They eat dinner around the fire while I sit with my back againt a tree not facing the group. He hasn't even made the effort to introduce me to her. I just need to calm down and realize that they havn't seen each other in forever.

   I look over and everyone is setting there sleeping bags down. He sets his down next to Hana, he said that I could. Oh well im not getting any sleep tonight anyways. Glenn is on watch tonight and he realizes im still up. He comes and sits next to me, "Whats up kiddo? Are you jealous about the whole Carl & Hana thing?" he asks. I shake my head yes.
