Trust In Love

Part 9

                      (Kyle's pov)

   I didn't even recognize Lani, she was torn in peices is what it looked like. Blood everywhere and dirt and sweat. I saw a man appear on the other side of the fence. He glared at me before seeing Lani in my arms. He motioned me to go to the gate. I ran dodging walkers and he let me in.

   "Whats your name?" The Korean man asked. "Kyle" I said. He shook his head in understanding and told me to follow him. We ran up into a prison, we ran to an empty cell and he laid her down. "Wait, may I ask who are you?" He turned and said "Glenn" "HERSHEL!" He screamed.

   An old man ran in and had supplies, he told me to leave the room. Glenn took me away and we came to a man who im guessing is the leader. "Rick this is Kyle... Kyle Rick" he said. Rick looked at me. "Do you plan on staying in this group?" "Um until my sister is ok" I say. "Ok let me ask u, how many walkers,have you killed?".... "To many to keep track of" I say. "How many people have you killed and why?" I looked down tears in my eyes.

   "She told me to, she was going to turn, and she was my girl friend" I say looking down. Rick rubbed my back and Glenn took me back to Lani. I leaned against the outside cell until I saw a familiar face come down the stairs. "Landis!" I yelled running to her. A man stopped me and shoved a bow in my face. "Daryl stop! Thats Lani's brother! How the hell did you get here Kyle?" She said hugging me. "Lani helped,me get here"

   "Lani's here?!" Daryl & Landis both said. I walked over to the cell and they walked over. Landis broke down in tears and hugged my sides. Two teenagers walked down the stairs once they heard the commotion. They walked over to the cell and saw Landis crying. "Whats wrong? And whos this?" The teenage boy said. "This is Kyle a-and..." She just pointed at Lani.

   He came around and didn't understand, he doesn't recognize her. "I'm Lani's brother and well thats Lani" I said. His mouth drops open and he stares at me. Everyone left but Landis Carl and I. Landis sat by her side while Carl and I sat outside the cell.

                    (Lani's pov)

   I started to wake up and I turned my head to the right. I smiled and grabbed Landis' hand. She was asleep so she shot up. She smiled and I smiled back, "Hey baby sis" she got up and sat next to me. I saw a scratch on her cheek and I ran my hand down it. "Who did this?" I asked. She swallowed hard. "Don't get mad, it was Hana I called her a slutty blonde" she said. I smirked and high-fived her. "Get that from me, haha" Kyle walked in and so did Carl.

   My shirt was torn so I pulled the blanket over my torso. "You ok?" Kyle,asked. "Hurts like a bitch" I say. "Help me up please" Kyle comes over and helps me, I kinda fall but Carl caught me from behind witch made him grab my boobs. I tried not to jump at the contact but I shook it off. They helped me up and I could see my tan stomach since the shirts torn.

   I wrap my arm around Kyle's waist and the other around Carl's shoulders. We walked down to the cafeteria till I see Hana. "Let me try and walk by myself please" they both let go and I limp over to Hana acting like i'm going to talk to Carol. I ball my hand into a fist and swing hitting Hana in the head, knocking her to the ground. "Lay another hand on my sister and I will kill your ass!" I say limping outside. I go up to a guard tower and sit at the top.

   I watch the sunset until I hear someone say," isn't it beautiful?" I look up and see Carl. I nod and look down, I feel him sit next to me. I look over and hes already looking at me. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry I ignored you. And I want you to know I didn't kiss Hana, she forced the kiss" he,said grabbing my hand. I gently placed my hand back in my lap. He gets up and sits in front of me. "Please don't shut me out, please" he says.

   I look into his breath taking crystal blue eyes and melt on the inside. He gently places his hands on both sides of my waist and pulls me into his lap. Now I have my legs slightly wraped around his waist, and hes leaning against the rail. He pulls me into a hug and whispers in my ear. "Please" I shiver and pull away. I look at him again until in one quick movment he presses his lips to mine. He kisses me slow and passionately, until he pulls away. I quietly whimper at the lose.

   "Lani I know you liked me, I like you too. Please don't say that any feelings you have for me are gone. I know you felt something in that kiss..." He says trailing off. "i did..." I also trail off. He smiles and pulls me into a hug and gets up still holding me and slowly walks down the stairs. I smile before falling asleep on his shoulder.
