The Golem reached the tower and started to climb. Spyro and Cynder distracted it while Sonic attacked it to find its weak spot. Cynder used her poison breath to cripple its remaining arm, until the Golem smacked Cynder right at the wall. Spyro flew right at the golem's face and scratched where the right eye was. The Golem screamed and punched the purple dragon. Sonic threw a stone at the creature. "Hey, over here!" shouted the hedgehog. The Golem roared as it tried to grab Sonic. "You're too slow!" the hedgehog mocked. Sonic jumped on top of the Golem and stabbed it at the top of its head. As he pulled out his sword form the stab wound, Sonic saw dark crystals. Quickly, the golem captured Sonic and threw into this mouth. Spyro and Cynder saw it and decided to attack again. While they used all the power they had, the Golem put his arm on the right side of his face and screamed. The dragons wondered what was happening until the right half of its face exploded. Coming out of the explosion was Sonic. "Nobody EATS me!" shouted Sonic. It was not long until the Golem climbed to the top of the tower. "Did you find its weak spot?" asked Spyro. "I think it has something to with those crystals on top of his head. If the three of us get to the top of it, we'll send that creep back where it belongs." Answered Sonic. So, Sonic, Spyro and Cynder began their final assault. Evading its attacks, the trio were able to get to the top of the golem's head. "Let's hope this works." Said Cynder. Then, the three of them jumped in the air and home-attacked the crystals, killing the creature. Sonic and the dragons saw the creature fall to its doom. It lay on the ground, unmoving. Sonic reverted back to his former state as he and the dragons went back to rejoin the others. Everyone cheered. Spyro and Cynder went to four large dragons. The first one was fiery red. The second one was white blue. The third one was yellow with streaks of blue. The fourth one was green and brown. As the dragons were talking, Sonic saw Shadow walk up to him, feeling apologetic. "I'm sorry for the things I've done." The hedgehog said. "Can you forgive me?" Extending his hand, Sonic looked at Shadow. "We all make mistakes, buddy." Sonic extended his hand and shook Shadow's hand.
It was night at the City of Warfang, Sonic and his friends were following Spyro, Cynder, the elder dragons and Hunter, when suddenly a purple crystal and appeared out of no where. In the crystal was the face of Malefor. "Citizens of Warfang!" he bellowed "Congratulations, you shall be the first to witness the resurrection of the Destroyer." Suddenly, the ground shook. Everyone turned to the volcano and saw a massive creature crawling out of it. "By the Ancestors, what is that?" said the large, red dragon. Sonic stared at it and suddenly had a flashback of another creature that was similar to the Destroyer. A creature he nevet thought he had encountered. Knuckles woke him up out of his staring gaze. "Sonic, are you alright?" asked Knuckles. "I thought I saw that creature before." "You must have been dreaming." Replied Knuckles. "Ignitus, I don't understand." Said Spyro. "Neither do I. The Destroyer walks around the world in order to create a new one." "Hey, that's not so bad." Replied Sparx. Ignitus continued "By summoning its destruction." "If that creature crosses the belt of fire, it'll be the end of everything." Said the yellow dragon. "A pursuit would be worthless, if we tried catching up to it we'll be too late." Said the green dragon. "We have to find another way." "Not too worthless." Said Sonic. Ignitus an the other elder dragons turned to Sonic "What are you saying?" said Ignitus. "I'm fast enough to catch up with that thing in no time." Said Sonic "If I can distract it long enough, I may stop it from completing its course." "Are you sure?" said the green dragon. "Absolutely." Answered Sonic. "We'll come too." Said Knuckles. "No, Knuckles." Replied Sonic. "You, Shadow, Blaze and Silver go with Spyro and the others and wish me luck." Sonic jumped off the city wall and began to chase the Destroyer. "Let us hope the hedgehog knows what he's doing." Said Ignitus.
Sonic ran to catch up to the Destroyer. "Hey, creepo!" shouted Sonic. The Destroyer stopped to see Sonic pulling a face at him. The Destroyer roared and smashed his fist to where Sonic was standing, not realizing the hedgehog had moved to the right side of him. "No, over here!" joked Sonic. The Destroyer threw his fist at Sonic again. But Sonic jumped and used the Sword of Warfang to cut through two of the monster's fingers. The Destroyer screamed. The creature roared with anger and Sonic was enjoying every moment of it. Sonic spun round the Destroyer until he was at the tip of his head, then home-attacked the beast square on the head. Seeing Sonic going around him had caused the Destroyer going dizzy and when being hit on the head, it collapsed. "Sorry, but I think I've won this round." Mocked Sonic. Suddenly, the Destroyer rose up again. "Oh, you ready for another round?" said Sonic. Suddenly, the Destroyer laughed. The the Destroyer started to speak. "Try as you may, hedgehog." Said the Destroyer. "But no matter how you distract it, you will never succeed." Sonic knew it was Malefor speaking and that he had full control of the monster. "Damn. I gotta warn the others." Said Sonic. The hedgehog ran off into the distance to find Spyro.
