I wake up on the couch, Dart sleeping on my stomach. "Aww...Dart, you need to sleep in the dog bed." He didn't move. I sighed and picked up, placing him gently on the dog bed. I refilled his water and food bowl. I took a look in the mirror. My hair was flying up on all ends. I need to fix that. I ran upstairs to shower.
The cold water relaxed my muscles, unnerving knots.
After my shower, I decided to go with a pink button-down shirt, a white high waist-mini skirt, and white skin-tight pants underneath. I was in a better mood today. When I walked downstairs, Dart was in a much better mood. "Well, Dart, would you like to come with me?" He barked happily. I put a leash on him. "Let's go." I grabbed a huge box and arranged the homework in class order. I picked it up. "Ugh, this is still heavy, even though it's only homework." I slipped the leash through my hand. "Let's get this over with." I opened the door and Dart walked through first strutting happily. "A dog's life is so easy." I checked the time. They were probably a quarter through 1st period.
Dart was just happily walking behind me, occasionally tugging on my wrist but I said no. Finally, we get to the school. I pondered to let Dart in with me. I decided on yes. He won't cause problems. I knocked on the chemistry door. All eyes were on me as I walked in with a box of papers and Dart behind me. Miss smiled at me. "You're done already?" I nodded. "I finished it yesterday. I'm only here to give it back, and then I'm going back home." I opened the box and handed her the first clump of papers. She looked at Dart. "I like your puppy." I nodded. I took the now ¾ full box and moved onto my next class, but I could feel everyone's eyes still on me from the sudden unusual experience.
I saw Taehyung staring at me as I left. I didn't pay attention. "Let's go boy" Dart followed me nicely. "You're such a good boy." We moved to calculus, where I again interrupted the class to hand in the homework. Miss was a bit startled, but she took the homework. "Good job, Arin."
I moved to language arts. I knocked on the door. Miss opened it up. There was nobody in the class. "This is my free period she explained. I handed her the homework. She looked over at Dart. "He's adorable, but next time, try to refrain from bringing an animal into the building." I nodded.
Lastly, I moved to history. I noticed the girl who kicked me was there. She glared at me. I didn't look at her. I handed the teacher the homework. She walked over to Dart and scratched him behind the ear. "Aww, he's adorable." I didn't see that coming. She stood up and grabbed the papers. "Thank you, Ms. Arin." I walked back outside, to feel a tap on my shoulder. It was the girl that kicked me. She grabbed my hand and dragged me around a corner. I looked at her uninterestedly. "Yes?" She let go of my hand. "Do you like Taehyung?" I shook my head. "Jerks aren't my type." She nodded. I noticed her scarf. "It's not cold outside, why do you wear a scarf?" "I get cold very easily."
I nod. "So, why'd you pull me here?" "To tell you to stay away from Taehyung." I rolled my eyes. "Well, you have nothing to worry about from me. I don't like anybody." She slapped me. "That was in case you were thinking anything." She turned around and started walking. She turned a corner and then I heard a loud "OUCH" I ran around the corner to see Dart smiling proudly while the girl was grabbing her foot. She glared at me. "I'll have Kim Taehyung all to myself, or my name isn't Nina." She stomped off. I rubbed Dart. "Good boy."
We walk outside, and I check the time. "It's now halfway into 2nd period. I should get home." Dart happily agrees. We were now outside the spot. The black kitten walks onto the road. Dart snarls. The kitten backs away. "Wait no!" Dart breaks from the leash and chases after the black kitten. I run after them into the forest. I finally reach the pond. I was tired from all the running. "Dart?" I see the fog rising out of the ground. The repeat of that night echoes in my mind. "DART?" I yell louder. "Geez, shut up." I see a man walking out of the trees. I back away, but I back into a tree. "Relax, I won't hurt you. Your dog was the one who chased after my kitten." I sighed. "That's your kitten?" Silence. "Oh sorry. I'm guessing this is your spot too?"
