College year one-21

The next morning, I woke up to see Mira not there. I met her during Calculus. "Why didn't you come?" She smiled. "I made up with my parents. I don't have to stay with you anymore!" I hugged her. "Any more good news?" She blushed and looked down. "I'm with Matt now." I smirked. "Of course you are."

"Yah!" I sighed. I need to get myself in control. Today was Tuesday. I can't want to regret my decision.

For lunch, we all decided to eat in our history room. "It's almost Thanksgiving guys. A whole week of no school." Jimin seemed excited. "That's gonna be great. It's gonna be amazing." I felt sad. I wouldn't be here by then.

After the day was over I got in my car and headed back home. The excitement of leaving had worn down a lot. I was going to miss these guys. Had I really made the right decision wanting to leave? I cuddled with Dart. "Is this the best course of action, dart?" He licked my face happily. He just doesn't get it does he? I needed to talk to Mira.

Arin: Mira?

Mira: Yeah?

Arin: Can I tell you something secret?

Mira: Yeshhh. Tell me your crush now girl.

Arin: I kissed somebody

Mira: OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG TELL ME THE DEETS NOW GIRL.

Arin: It was Taehyung.

Mira: I need to go.

I sighed. She was probably busy. I sat down on my bed. Is this place really that bad? I drifted off to sleep, even though it was really early.

I woke up to see Dart sleeping on my stomach. Again. "I'm starting to think you just don't like the bed." I muttered. I brushed my teeth, showered, and got ready. I got in my car and drove to school. I saw Mira in the hallway, but she didn't see me. I'll see her at 2nd period anyway.

I took my seat in 1st period. It was already Wednesday. Jin and Jimin were smiling like usual, and Taehyung seemed ridiculously happy too. I wondered why. I felt kind of sad. That period flew by, and it became time for 2nd period. I walked in and smiled at Mira, but she didn't return it. "Is something wrong?" She was silent. I silently sat through the lesson, but I couldn't feel bad from Mira's coldness. After everyone left to get their food, Mira slowly got up.

"Mira? Are you ok?" I grabbed her hand. She turned around and slapped me. "You freaking kissed Kim Taehyung! Right after we broke up!"

"Mira is this the reason you're mad?" She glared. "Why else? I wish you'd just leave and not come back. You're a terrible friend, I can't believe it. I bet you're the reason he broke up with me." "Mira, I wasn't going to kiss him. It was just that-" She slapped me again. "Shut up. I wish that you'd just disappear from my life." then turned on her heels. I sank to my knees.

I got up and walked from the room. I caught a glance of myself in the mirror. There were two red handprints on either cheek. I sighed and left the building. "Today's Wednesday anyway." I got in and went to see Dart. "Aww Dart. You're so adorable." I say, enjoying his company. "So what do you think I should do?" He licked my hand.

"My first friend in this place now hates me." I sighed. "Come on, Dart. Let's go." I took his leash and took him for a walk. "What should I do, Dart? Should I go to school tomorrow or not?" He tilted his head confused. "You're right. I should. Screw Mira."

I went home and changed into my café outfit. Scott was very mad at me. "You missed work the past few days." He saw my face and softened. "Are you ok?" I nodded. "I can't work after today however." "What? Why?" I sighed. "Reasons." He sadly nodded. "Ok then."
