Adelaide woke up, still cuddled into Dean's protective arms. She fluttered her eyes opened and sighed, as she breathed in Dean's scent. She cuddled deeper into his chest, taking in every moment of this wonderful morning.
"Good morning," Dean whispered to her. Adelaide smiled when she heard his beautiful voice.
"It is a good morning," she replied, making Dean laugh. Dean removed him arms from around Adelaide's body, making her drop her smile. Dean rolled out of bed, Adelaide followed suit. She stretched her arms and yawned as she threw her feet onto the ground. Dean stumbled over to the bathroom and shut the door. Adelaide walked over to a mirror that was hanging on the back of the door. She installed it there herself while Dean was away, so she could watch her back when she was trying to sleep. She looked at herself and groaned. She fixed her hair up a little bit, by throwing it into a messy ponytail. At least then, it would still be somewhat tamed. When Adelaide finished, she looked behind her and saw Dean. He rubbed his eyes and ran his fingers through his hair, making Adelaide's heart melt. Dean looked up at her, she immediately looked away.
"Want some breakfast?" He asked.
"Is that even a question?" She replied. Dean chuckled at her.
"Wow. You're just full of sarcasm today, aren't ya?" Adelaide giggled. She nodded her head as she reached for the doorknob. Dean smiled at her, sleepily, as he followed her to the kitchen.
Dean and Adelaide appeared into the kitchen, where they found Sam, already up and making breakfast.
"Morning," he greeted them, as he flipped some bacon on the pan.
"Morning," Adelaide replied, as she took a seat in a chair beside Dean. Dean rested his arm on the top of the back of Adelaide's chair. Adelaide turned to him and smiled.
"So, what's on the agenda today?" Dean asked his younger brother. Sam flipped another piece of bacon.
"Well," he started and then cleared his throat. "I was thinking maybe we all could go see a movie or something later tonight. But, if you're not up to that, we can always do something else, like laser tag or bowling." Sam suggested. "You know. Actually have some fun in our lives, like normal people."
"But, we're not normal people," Dean laughed. Sam chucked and shook his head.
"That's true, but, anyway. What do you think about that?" Sam asked. Adelaide looked at Dean.
"Choice is yours," he said to her. Adelaide thought for a moment.
"Although a movie does sound nice, how about we go play laser tag and then come back here and watch a movie on Netflix," she said.
"Sounds good," Sam agreed, as he sat down at the table and ate his breakfast. Dean got up and began to make him and Adelaide some bacon. All of a sudden, the three heard the flutter of wings behind them. They turned around and saw Castiel standing in the doorway.
"Cas!" Adelaide exclaimed, as she got up and jump into Castiel's arms. Castiel laughed as he wrapped his arms around Adelaide and smiled. "Come take a seat." She guided Castiel to the seat across from her. He sat down, looking confused at Dean's death glare.
"So, what are you guys doing today?" He asked. Adelaide looked at Sam, who nodded.
"Well, we were going to go play laser tag tonight and watch a movie. Would you like to come?" Castiel smiled, a big, bright smile.
"I would love to."
"Well, we gotta make teams now," Sam said. Adelaide giggled. "We'll switch up teams half way through the game."
"We'll decide, by..." Adelaide looked around for an idea. "Spinning a bottle!" She exclaimed, as she grabbed an empty beer bottle. "I'll spin and whoever it lands on, will be my partner for the first part of the game." Sam nodded.
"Sounds good," Dean agreed, as he set a plate of bacon down in front of Adelaide and sat down beside her. "Let's eat breakfast first."Sam, Dean and Adelaide all ate breakfast and the four of them sat around the living room floor, the bottle in the middle of their circle.
"Ready?" Adelaide asked. All three boys nodded their head. She gripped her hand onto the bottle and spun it. It spun around for what felt like forever, but eventually came to a stop — in front of Castiel. "Cas! Your my partner for the first game." Cas smiled at her, Dean gave Cas a weird look.
"We're gonna be playing three times, so spin again," Dean said. Adelaide nodded. Castiel moved out of the way, by sitting on the couch. Adelaide grabbed the bottle again and spun it. It spun around the circle until it finally landed on Sam.
"Sammy!" She exclaimed. Sam giggled at her excitement and looked over at Dean. Dean had a disappointed look on his face. "Awe. It's okay, Dean. You'll at least get to play with me." Dean smirked at her. "What?"
"Yeah. At least I'll get to play with you," Dean repeated. Adelaide smacked her forehead and shook her head. She tried not to smile, but failed.
"Oh god, Dean."
