You were always stealing my pieces
The ones you said you'd need
But never stopped to consider
That those fragments were for me

You said you needed some support
And so I held you up
And if I ever faltered
You ignored my scrapes and cuts

When I cried out to you for help
For you knew I struggled too
You brushed me off and said
I'm more important than you

Once I fell too hard
From all the weight you placed on me
And this time held no chance at recovery
You saw I was now useless
And could no longer cater to your needs
So you packed up your belongings
And quickly took your leave

I guess it's for the better
Now I finally have the chance
To gather all my pieces
The ones you had once stole
But now left
