Mistakes

Seto's POV

Priest, Tomb! I heard Cheza's voice ring through my mind. Be careful! It's William's spawn!! Make damn sure that no one can get in or out of the school! And stock up on the fire and silver bullets!!

Oh, great. William's brethren are always acting up and we always have to clean up their messes...

I looked at the teacher and simply stated, "Well, u heard her... Come on Tomb, let's go get that damn barricade before William's spawn get any closer to this place... and you know what will happen if they get in.

Marik looked at me with a somber face that I knew well... about 6 months ago, we encountered a small village in Egypt that was being attacked by William. Men, women, and children had their throats chewed out and were being eaten by this huge white wolf thing... it was William. He saw us and ran off...

Cheza started burning the bodies, but about a minute after we arrived, the people that were bitten started to transform and attack.... we had no choice but than to kill each and every person there... it was depressing and sad. But, we aren't gonna let it happen this time. It took us only 5 minutes with our speed and strength, but we finally got the barricade up.

"Finally!" Thief said as he approached us. "Lets go kick some ass and help Heba and Cheza!" And with that, we ran to where the battle was already underway.

My choice of weapon was the sword, so I had a pure silver sword that could burst into flames with the push of a button. Cheza had a scythe that she made herself and could turn into a gun, whip, sword, or spear at any time. Thief had many daggers and darts that he could manipulate at will and burst into flames. Heba had a spear that possessed the same abilities as my sword. Tomb preferred a javelin.

All of a sudden, we saw a black and blue blur dive bomb right in the middle of our battle. The blurs changed into 2 hedgehogs that we knew well.

"Sonic! Shadow!" Cheza called. "Come to join the party?"

"Well, we can't let you guys have all the fun, now can we?" Sonic said with his classic smirk.

"Now's not the time to chat, Faker," Shadow chided his cobalt companion. "Just focus on what we came here to do and shut up."

"Awwww, Shads! I can do both and still kick more ass than you."

Shadow said nothing and opted to just fight. I didn't blame him. Sonic won't listen to anyone except Cheza, so there was no point in arguing.

TIME SKIP cuz im not even gonna try to explain a fight... Long story short, the Hikaris are badasses now and Sonic and Shadow are their usual selves, so they all kick ass.

The battle ended when Cheza ripped William's head from his shoulders... after that, the others were easy to deal with...

"Nice job with the barricade." Cheza complimented. "How is everyone in the classroom? Calm?"

Heba sighed. "Everyone is calm, but they were demanding answers. I told them that you would explain when we got back inside. Everyone seemed to calm after that but the yamis... they didn't look happy at all."

"Well why should they care?" Tomb shouted. "They chose that bitch over us and didn't give two shits about what would happen!"

"Enough, Tomb! Mokuba told me that the Yamis tried looking for us for 2 years straight after we left. Tea wasn't happy and ended up revealing to them that she lied and started the rumors. They only gave up after realizing they couldn't find us cuz we didn't want to be found." Cheza sighed. "I say we at least hear what they have to say. We don't have to forgive them or even trust them, but let's hear them out."

"I agree," Heba said. We all looked at him in shock. I mean, while we all were hurt over what happened, Yugi was the was who felt betrayed the most... He had a good relationship with both Yami and Joey. He couldn't understand why they wouldn't believe him when all of us defended Cheza.

"I just want to know why they did it. And we can make it clear that we don't trust them and that they will have to work hard for things to be normal again."

I liked the sound of that. We could find out why they abandoned us all, and we get to see if it's just the guilt talking, or if they truly want us in their lives. If they don't, then we continue with ours. But if they do, we get to see just how far they are willing to go...
