Lauren's POV
It has been weeks! Weeks since me and Kenzie last talked. It has been a month since school ended, and still not one word from Annie, Nadia, or even KENZIE! I'm getting worried! John and Julie have been off and on again over and over, EVERYDAY! I just avoid him. Me and Emily have just been watching Netflix all this month so far.
Today, I decided to go to Kenzie's and see why she hasn't even called, or been in contact with me.
Kenzie's POV
I have grown this past month! I haven't been out, at all! And just been at home, hanging with Annie, Nadia, and Maddie. To be honest, I have been missing Lauren like, ALOT! The only ways I get out of the house is when I have doctor appointments. But that's it. My morning sickness is almost gone, but barely any.
Today I woke up, and took my medicine. I took a shower, and got myself ready for the day. Today, my mom has a plan for me just to go in public because I am showing, but if I wear something flowy, it wont show.
I curled my hair, and changed. I changed into a summer long dress, and put on my white wedges. I did my makeup, and put on my necklace my mom gave me when she found out about the triplets. It has 3 hearts on one chain, and when I have the babies. I'll put their names on each one. I put on my ring that Maddie gave me years ago for my birthday. It has a diamond and a gold ring band. It had a small sapphire on it, and it fit on my middle finger. I went downstairs, and saw Maddie, Annie, Nadia, and my mom waiting at the door.
I went down to them, then the doorbell rang. My mom was about to get it, but I went to get it. "Its ok. Just go in the car. I'll be there in a second." I said, and they nodded. Knowing I would get mad at them. "Wow, they are afraid of me aren't they?" I talked to my children as I held my stomach. Showing it.
I kept my hand on my stomach, and opened the door to see Lauren, and, Johnny? I didn't realize I was still holding my growing stomach. I slammed the door, and ran up to my room crying. I slammed my room door shut, and it made the loudest noise ever!
Lauren's POV
I rang the doorbell, and John came along because my mom finally talked some sense into him. She told him to say sorry to Kenzie, so he came along with me.
I rang the doorbell, and before, I heard talking. But didn't hear the conversation. Kenzie opened the door, but froze. The thing I saw, was that she was holding her stomach. Like if she were pregnant. I looked at Johnny, but before we said anything. The door was slammed in our face.
"What was that about?" Johnny asked. Seriously! Did he just ask that?
"Wow, did you just ask me that?" I said in a sassy voice. Then the door opened again. Maddie this time.
"Hye, what are you guys doing here?" Maddie asked, confused why we would be here.
"Uh, we just came to see Kenz." I said.
"Oh, she told you? I didn't-" but I cut her off.
"Told us what?" I asked, confused. And her face turned red.
"Uh, nothing. I think you should go." Nadia said as she came to the doorway. Wait, why is she here. Maddie nodded. Then, I saw Annie and Kenzie at the top of the stair way. Again, with Kenzie holding her stomach.
"Uh, ok. I guess." I said, and grabbed Johnny's hand then we left.
Mackenzie's POV
After I saw them, I just prayed they didn't see me holding my stomach. I fixed myself up after they left, then went in the car with everyone else. They know I don't like being asked if I was ok. SO they just were quiet.
"Mom, I'm hungry!" I complained, and she pulled into a restaurant parking lot. It was a Italian restaurant, but I'm not a big fan. But the babies want it, so. Yeah. We came inside, and they brought us to the VIP section where only rich people go.
We sat down, and I saw the worst that can happen today. Lauren, Julie, Johnny, Emily, all sitting at the other table across from us. Also, I changed into a grey dress, that showed my growing bump.
"Shit," I mumbled under my breath, but then. The 'group' saw us. And walked over. This is terrible. Also, my mom wasn't there, she was talking to the manager.
"Well, if it isn't the girl who has been mysterious all summer. So far." Julie said to me, of course very rude! I covered my stomach and whispered into Annie's ear since she was next to me.
"We have to get out of here before they see." I said and she nodded.
"Did you guys just forget us? Because, you two are hanging with Kenzie. And not telling us." Lauren said, and I never saw this side of her.
"Can you just leave?" Maddie asked/demanded. I felt uncomfortable.
"Let's just go." my mom said returning to the table and motioning us to get up and leave.
Annie got out first, and I covered my stomach. Annie helped me up. But I had to leg go of my stomach. Now it really showed. "Look who gained weight." Julie mocked me and I was about to smack her, but Annie and Nadia turned me away.
"Fuck." I said as we left. "I forgot my purse." I said
"I'll get it." my mom said, but I pulled her back.
"Its fine. I'll get it. I know their secrets. And more. SO, I'll get it," I said, and they didn't fight.
AI went inside, and saw Lauren and Julie looking through my purse. Shit! I have ultrasound pics and other stuff. I saw Lauren take out the ultrasound pic, and I grabbed it from her as fast as I can.
"What is this?" Julie asked, as she showed the ultrasound picture.
"None of your business." I said, and took it away from her.
"No, seriously. What is this?" Lauren asked. I just sighed, and pointed at my stomach.
I then took away my purse, and left.
The only thing left is, what do I do now?
