Fortunately, oblivion was America. Even though it's just as bad.
Johanna looked around where she was standing. She seemed to have plummeted out of the sky, which she did. She landed, conveniently, in a parking lot that belonged to a motel.
Before she could walk in, someone called her attention. "Hey," a voice said. Johanna turned to see two men maybe her age standing in front of her.
"Hello?"
The taller of the two smiled. "I see you're not from around here," he remarked.
"Yeah, nice accent," the other one commented.
"We couldn't help but notice you're sudden appearance a minute ago," the tall one stated. "It seemed like you teleported to here."
The smaller one hit the other one. "You're scaring her, Sammy," he scolded. He then looked at Johanna and smiled. "My name is Dean and this is my brother, Sam. Would you like to have come out with us?"
Johanna blinked. She didn't know how to reply. But eventually an answer came. "Sure."
