"dude i seriously think you should consider my offer on setting you up with that guy. i'm telling you he's cute you two are going to love each other."

"fine but shut up already you're making anxious and nervous."

"i'll send you his number and social media! everything! i'll even plan the wedding."

"jesus hoseok you always overreact i don't even know the guy." namjoon said annoyingly.

"but you will soon and you--"

"shit um. i gotta go pick up my nieces i didn't realize how late it was already. i'll text you later. and you're welcome for the snacks." namjoon said as he got up and shoved his friend's chest playfully.

he loved hoseok but man was he persistent sometimes.

namjoon hummed a soft song before arriving at the daycare. "i'm starting to like it here.." he thought as he walked inside.

he was happy to that jimin was already at the front desk, looking through some sign up sheet for what seemed to be a field trip somewhere.

namjoon cleared his throat and jimin snapped his head to look up at him, catching him by surprise but his startled expression relaxing as he realized it was just namjoon.

"oh namjoon hey.." jimin said and set his papers down to focus more on the taller male.

"here to pick up your nieces again?"

"yeah, my brother is choked up in his work. he can't risk missing a day."

"you've been coming here all the time i'm starting to think you're their daddy." jimin joked lightheartedly and let out a soft chuckle.

namjoon looked down shyly and laughed a bit. "not theirs but someone else's.." he muttered under his breath.

jimin perked his face up and looked at the boy in front of him. "hm? i thought you said you didn't have any children.." he said.

"o-oh no.. it was nothing don't worry about it." namjoon laughed it off. "it's was just u-uh.. a reference. yeah."

not very slick namjoon.

jimin smiled and nodded. "well let's go get the girls. they seemed a bit out of it today. maybe they're tired."

"but they went to bed early.." namjoon sighed. it was odd seeing the girls upset they were usually very giddy and energetic. he was going to have a talk with them later about what was up.

"girls, your uncle is here." jimin called out and the girls walked over sluggishly.

"hi uncle joon.." they said.

"what's the matter?" namjoon asked sadly, he hated seeing his little girls so upset.

"nothing. we're fine." seoyeon said.

namjoon picked them both up and smiled. "don't tell your father but i'll let you guys stay up a little late today to watch a movie." he said and received two happy smiles from them. they nodded and agreed not to tell.

with that namjoon signed them both out and they spent the night giggling and watching a movie that ended up in a pillow fight and the girls falling asleep midway through the film.
