namjoon arrived shortly after at his brother's house. he knocked on the door only to be greeted by his wife.
"oh, soohyun. hello."
"namjoon. welcome i suppose." she said a bit irritated.
namjoon never liked her, he knew his brother could do so much better but he was too nice and always let himself get pushed around.
namjoon walked past her and came inside. "girls?" he called out with a warm smile.
the girls came out of their room and ran to him. "uncle joon you did come!" they cheered as their mother crossed her arms and glared.
"of course i did, i wouldn't miss a day in seeing my two favorite girls. are you ready to leave?"
"yes we are!" they said and threw their small backpacks on while grabbing their lunchboxes.
"alright, goodbye soohyun, tell my brother i said hi and to text me later." namjoon said, to which she scoffed and walked away.

"namjoon, lovely seeing you here again." jimin said as he leaned over the desk and smiled up at the taller male.
"you as well, jimin." he said as his little nieces ran off to play with the dolls that were in the colorful bins.
in the distance, they could see the little girls beginning to fight over a doll but they stopped each other and chanted in unison, "sharing is caring, who ever doesn't share, gets the timeout chair!"
of course it was another one of namjoon's little rhymes he made for them to better understand life's harder lessons.
"they're always saying cute little things like that, did you teach them?" jimin asked.
"yeah. i'm always looking after them and i tried to make discipline plain and simple, so why not add a little rhyme so it gets glued in their minds?" namjoon said and laughed a little.
"you're very smart, i like that." jimin complimented.
he was tempted to ask him about hoseok and the planned date but he didn't want to seem desperate or weird so he kept his mouth shut, time will come.
"t-thanks.. you're very, uh.. smart yourself. you seems like you're great at your job. i admire that, a hardworking person. it's a gift." namjoon said.
jimin gushed and pet his shoulder. "aw.. you're sweet thank you. now get going, i keep you here for too long, talking all the time." he said.
namjoon nodded and excused himself. he felt good about himself. he was starting to think that he might actually like jimin, maybe he had finally gotten over his past love. i mean it did happen almost two years ago.
he couldn't dwell in the past any longer maybe it was time for him to try something new. he was going to call hoseok off on the blind date when-

this is the guy you're going on a date
with, he already agreed so 😬😬
******************namjoon looked at his phone and smiled to himself, thank god hoseok was a promiscuous and social man that knew a lot of people. he was so thankful that hoseok had happen to know jimin and that he was being set up with him. at first he didn't want to go because he had his eyes on him and the thought of a blind date scared him off but now that he knew it was him.. god he was enthralled.
namjoon gave his friend a quick reply and tried to keep his emotions to himself. he didn't want to give away that he was too damn excited.
once hoseok got the message, he replied to jimin informing him that namjoon had said yes to the date and they were set to go as soon as possible, the sooner the better in their case, neither of the two could possibly wait any longer.
