*****IMPORTANT*****
I have re-uploaded this story. The only reason it is still published is for the other readers that may come back, looking for updates. I have made a new story, same name. Look on my profile for it. Thank you!

next night, 6:30PM

"I'm nervous," I sighed, straightening out my dress as we walked towards the restaurant where Leati's mom wanted to meet at.

"Why?" Leati asked me, his hand resting on the small of my back as he pulled the door open for me.

"Because I'm meeting your mom. This probably literally makes it or breaks it for us," I said, taking a deep breath as we walked inside the small building.

"Baby, she's going to love you. Don't even stress it," he told me before kissing the top of my head. We walked towards the table in the corner and Leati was quick to touch his mother's shoulder, taking her by surprise.

"Hi, Leati!" she gasped, wrapping her arms around him. I smiled at their embrace as she kissed his cheek and released him, turning her attention to me.

"Ma, this is my love, Luna," Leati said, making me blush slightly. "Luna, this is my mother, Patricia."

"Oh, Leati, she is so beautiful!" Patricia gushed, pulling me into a hug. "I've never seen Leati like this, and it is so great to see him so happy,"

"I love seeing him happy, too," I smiled as she released me, Leati's hand finding my waist again.

"Sit down, babygirl," he told me softly, allowing me to sit down in the booth before he sat down next to me.

"So, tell me how this all started. I swear this story has been all such a secret," she smiled, folding her hands together on the table.

"Erm, well, I was having a really, really bad night, and I was trying to find Colby, who is my cousin. I was a mess, and Leati and Dean came and found me sitting by Colby's door, and helped me," I explained, peering up at him as he stared down at me. "Leati and I talked a lot, and it really helped me get over my issues that night. I think it was then that we kind of clicked and things just kind of, um, progressed,"

"Wait, you let her call you Leati?!" Patricia asked, furrowing her brows slightly.

"Yes, ma. You know the stipulation," Leati smirked, squeezing my hand underneath the table.

"I love that so much," she sighed, placing her hand over her heart. "What kind of problems were you having that night, Luna? Leati has always been really nice and sympathetic, so it doesn't surprise me he was there in a time of need,"

"I, I, uh, got hurt pretty bad that night in the ring," I said before looking to Leati for reassurance. "Then, I found my then boyfriend cheating on me. I-I was really hurt, but then Leati walked up to me and it was all gone,"

"He's a blessing in disguise," she said, smiling over at him.

"Agreed," I smiled cheekily.

"Leati was going off about you on the phone the other night. It was so cute," she told me, smirking.

"I think if I start again I might not stop," he smirked, his arm moving to wrap around my shoulders, pulling me into him so he could press a kiss to the top of my head.

"You really love her, Leati," Patricia said. "I can tell, son,"

"You have no idea, ma. I don't know what it is about her, but I just love her," Leati said, peering over at me. "Actually, I know exactly what it is about her, but if I get into it, I'll never shut up,"
