Sweet Pea

"You're telling me, I shouldn't be mad at Kathryn? Or Marci? Or whatever her name is?" I say to Fangs. "She lied to me for years. I told her I hated her in middle school, then when we transferred I told her how much I despised her. She lied about her life and why she acted that way. I treated her like shit because I thought she was a Northsider! If I knew she was Kat I wouldn't have treated her like that."

"To be fair Sweet Pea, she never told you she was a Northsider. In fact, you said that stuff about her before she even spoke to you," Jughead said. "You judged her before knowing anything."

"Shut it Jones," I said angrily.

I stood up and got on my bike. I drove back to my trailer, once inside I slammed the door and fell onto my couch. I sat up and noticed the pictures on my table. They were pictures of Kathryn and I as kids. I picked one up and noticed some writing on the back.

"I love you Sweetie Pea!" It read. I scoffed and threw the picture back onto the table. Why did she hide this for so long? I treated her so badly and now I don't even know who she is at this point.

Kathryn

"Kat, what's your name?" Marci says.

"Marci De-" She cuts me off by hitting me with a pillow.

"Kathryn Fogarty," She corrected me. "Your name is Kathryn Fogarty."

"So what about my name?" I say sitting up. "Why is my name so important now?"

"You're Fangs' sister!" She exclaimed. "Your brother could've died! So stop moping around and let's go see your brother! If Sweet Pea is mad at you, let him be mad! You did this for your brother."

I got and told Ms. Mollie I was leaving. She gave me a key for when we come back. I got on my motorcycle and drove to the trailer park. I parked in front of my old trailer and knocked on the door. Fangs opened and a big smile appeared on his face.

"You're back," He smiled. I walked in as Fangs closed the door. We sat on the couch and I noticed something around the house. My old ring was on the table along side some pictures of us as kids. I picked up one picture of Fangs, Sweet Pea and I.

"He missed you a whole bunch sis," Fangs said, looking at me.

"I missed him too but hiding this was important to me," I say.

"Why'd you did it?" He says.

"Because, I wanted to have a new start in Riverdale. I was always in your shadow and you said you hated me. I thought if I restarted as a new person, I wouldn't be a outsider," I say. "Sweets hate even more now."

"What do you mean hate?" Fangs laughed. "Kat, he's in love with you! When you were missing before we had the riot, he was saying how much he had a crush on you."

"Sweet Pea? Your talking about Sweet Pea, the big tough guy?" I say.

"Yea, the one you called Sweetie Pea," He says hitting my shoulder. "He had the biggest crush on you as a kid."

"Huh," I scoffed. I laid back and thought back to the past. Sweet Pea would always protect me from bullies at school who made fun of me because I was the only girl who dressed like a boy. Sweet Pea always make sure I was okay and that I never was hurt. My thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Fangs! It's Sweet Pea," we heard. I stood up and walked into Fangs' room as he went to open the door. I peeked through a crack in the door as Sweet Pea was let in.

"Fangs, I can't deal with this right now," He says. He hands Fangs a picture.

"What do you mean?" Fangs says, examining the picture. "It's a picture of you and Kat. What can't you deal with?"

"Her. I loved her for so long but I realized I only saw her four years of my life and now that she's back..." He starts.

"She's back so..." Fangs says.

"She's back and I want to forget her," Sweet Pea says.
