Vince

I stared at my test for a while until Reggie shook me out of my thoughts. "What's wrong with a failing grade, Vince?" He jokes.

"I had a good grade when I was with Marci..." I mumble.

"Just because we broke up doesn't mean your grades depend on it," I heard. "And it's Kathryn, not Marci."

I looked up and Kathryn-Marci or whatever I call her sat down across from me. She looked different to me. Her attitude changed, her style is way different, and she smiled way more.

"But I-" I started.

"No but's. Grades are grades. They aren't your relationship bud," Reggie says, sitting down next to me.

"Hey did Abel get arrested?" Moose said walking up to us. We all dart our eyes to Kathryn.

"Yes? Look he and his buds beat the hell out of me," Kathryn says.

"So wait my cousin got arrested for domestic violence?" I stated. "You know he was a drug dealer too, right?"

"The hell?! I never knew that. Whatever, he's gone thats all that I care about." Kathryn says.

After lunch ended, I sat down in the locker room staring at the ground.

"What's up with you?" Reggie chuckled.

"I just-" I hesitated. "I miss Kathryn.."

"Woah, Vince misses an ex!" I heard.

"Vince, you sure? You called her a serpent slut, and you got punched in the face by her," Reggie states. "You've never missed a girl before."

"I don't know it's just-" I start. "Maybe I'm jealous now."

"Of what?" Moose nudges my shoulder.

"Of Kathryn and Sweet Pea..." I mumble. "Before you laugh! Hear me out... I'm only jealous because she smiles more with him. I just really miss seeing her laugh and like she deserves better than that asshole."

"Then get her back! Make Sweet Pea mad at her," Moose says. "Just make Sweet Pea jealous and they'll break up."

I thought about it and I started to consider it.

Kathryn

Sweet Pea had his legs propped on my lap as we sat on the couch in study hall. "Hey, can you help me study for math?" Sweet Pea says.

"Woah, you and studying? Who are you and where is boyfriend?" I laugh.

"Okay, I just wanna go to your house. I'm trying not to sound weird and creepy," He chuckled.

"Babe, it's not weird!" I say, smacking his shoulder. "Oh shit, I'll be back, I left my shit in Mr. Yu's class."

I get up from the couch and walk to my math class. I scanned the room and found my binders. I turn around and found Vince leaning on the doorframe. "Hey Mr. Yu, I was just looking for Kathryn," He says. I slowly walked to the exit and waved bye to my teacher.

I exit the classroom and Vince follows me. He puts his arm around me and walked me to study hall. I think nothing of it and attempt to enter study hall. Vince pulls me into a hug before letting me enter but once I do, Sweet Pea stood in front of me, angry.

"Babe?" I say, trying to get his attention.

"Don't ever let him touch you again." Sweet Pea says, grabbing my hand. We walked out of study hall and he dragged me to the outside of the school. "Why would you let him hug you!"

"It was just a hug Sweets, chill out," I say.

"Chill out? He's your ex!" He throws his arm in the air and points back at the door. "If it's not a big deal, why don't you go kiss him!"

"The hell? Why are you jealous?" I said, sternly. "He called me a slut when I dumped him!"

"That doesn't mean, you won't go off and cheat on me! You could still have feelings for him!" He yelled.

"Feelings for him?" I say shockingly. "Do you not trust me?"

"Sorry I feel jealous and that I can't trust the girl who hid her identity for no reason," He emphasized the last two words at me.

"Fuck you, Sweet Pea," I stated. I stormed back into the school and walked to my next class.

Sweet Pea

After school, Fangs, Toni and I hung out at the quarry. I was still mad at Kathryn's ex and the fact that she thought it was no big deal. I knew I was jealous, it was just the fact that Vince would always boast about dating her.

"Where's Kat?" Toni asks. Fangs shifts his attention away from his phone to look at me.

"I don't know, why?" I state.

"Oh, I thought you guys were together, like you guys rode to school together," Toni shrugs.

"We did, but she left with someone I think," I sighed.

"Is she cheating on you?" Toni suggested.

"My sister? Cheating? Pfft, yea right," Fangs states.

"She's kinda untrustworthy, Fangs," I stated. "She lied to us for what, eight years? Yea, like I can trust that!"
