I fall to my knees holding my head with both my hands in agony. The memory surges through me with a sharp pain and a headache that follows. My eyes ache in my head as the darkness fades and my vision returns. The sound that i had made brought their attention to me. Eyes stared at my pained state. Nat instantly rushed over to me, grabbing my hands in his pulling them down away from my face and looks at me concerned. "Saph?! Saph! Are you ok? What happened?" He asks continuously with hurt and worry flooding his voice. I look at him as tears well up in my eyes and stream down my face. I decide to get up off the floor and push the emotions down and stare down Death while he fights with Scatty. I clench my fists and take a step forward only to be halted by Nat. I turn my head toward him ready to smack him when his expression changed my reaction. He stood there with determination, a mix of worry and concern, and an overall pissed off look. "Let me take care of him. He did this to you in the first place. You're not losing your memories again. You're staying away from here as far as possible." He says grabbing my arm and turning me to the direction of the castle entrance door. I shake my head and turn back to him. "No i'm not leaving you again. I can't lose you." I say as the emotions start to come back and he grabs my shoulders. "No you're leaving, and you're not gonna lose me." He says and starts pushing me out and closes the doors behind him. I start banging on the doors when i hear a loud blast from inside and my determination sky rockets. The doors are sealed shut and I try my best to break them down. I feel tears streaming down my face as my fists bang on the doors, the sides of them turning bloody. I hear more crashes coming from inside and grow furious that he left me out here. Something crashes from the window above and flops down on the floor in front of me. It was scatty and I rushed to her side holding her up. "Scatty?! What the hell is going on in there?" I asked a mix of confusion, anger, frustration, and worry. She had bruises and cuts all over her body. She tried to get up but fell to the floor unable to support her own weight. She looked up at me and grabbed my arm pulling me toward her. I leaned in and she whispered in my ear, "We have to get out of here. Nat is sacrificing himself so we can get away. We need to run." She said, her voice hoarse and worn out. I look at her unsure what to do; I wanted to run back in there and bring Nat with us but the doors were sealed shut. I look at her and sigh helping her up onto her feet and put her arm over my shoulder so I could support her. "Let's go. I know Nat can beat him. Hopefully he'll return to us back at the house." I said sadly and hobble away with her on my shoulder.

I walked her all the way back to the house and set her on the couch. I collapsed onto the ground in front of the couch exhausted from the walk. Scatty lays on the couch groaning in pain from the battle as the bruises swell and ache over her body. I look up at her and sigh getting up on my feet as they wobble from the exhaustion. I make my way to the kitchen to grab ice packs for scatty when I get a headache and short vision replays in my mind.

He protected me, shielded me from the wrath of him. But vanished the moment I opened my eyes fully to the sight of him. I remember him, the power that surges through him. He rescued me from that wretched place. He rescued me more than once. From that demented mansion, the decrepit cell; he did more than I imagined. He cared for me. He told me he would be there for me when I needed him. What was his name? Max...Max was his name.

I open my eyes and my mind grew slightly clearer. 'Max...I remember you. You helped me those many times before. I'll find you this time. I'll tell you of my past. But first, I need to piece all these puzzle pieces in my head first.' I think in my head heading back into the living room and help scatty with her wounds and bruises. She looks up at me and grabs my wrist. "I need...to tell you....about....your memories." She breathed, panting heavily from the pain and winces dropping her hand. I look at her holding her hand in mine and kneel down beside her as I try to hold back the exhaustion from consuming my body so I could listen to her. "Scatty you need rest. You can tell me tomorrow when you feel better." I reply putting her hand on her stomach and support the ice packs on her forehead and bruises along her sides. The icy feeling of the cold ice pack soothed me as I touched it and kept my hand on them for comfort. I enjoyed it and Scatty looks at me and smiles. "I see...I'll train you more tomorrow. And tell you everything." She speaks softer sounding a little better than when she first spoke. I smile and nod as the exhaustion finally kicks in and I slump over her stomach and fall asleep. The ice I was touching helped sooth me into a deep sleep and in my dreams I kept hearing, "Follow your mind.....seek the truth.....discover yourself...." as it rings in my ears constantly.
