I woke up the next morning at the normal time and was getting ready upstairs when I heard mum: "Ashley darling, come downstairs please there is an interesting boy named Cameron at the front door and he is asking to walk you to school!" what? That was a surprise! Well lucky I'm ready in time today! I walked down the stairs near where the front door was. I saw him standing there at the door and mum was talking to him! Oh no! My mum is crazy so she is most likely going to say something odd to him! "hey Cameron!" I said halfway down the stairs. "hey Ash!" he said with a huge smile coming across his face as he saw me. Then he blushed and I flashed him a quick smile back. We walked out the front and he waited for my mum to close the front door before he have me a kiss on the cheek. We walked to school together and we walked over to Jess and Matt together when they where already making out. We walked over to them and sat down next to each other. "hey love birds" Cameron said in a joking way! The finally broke away from their long kiss smiling at each other. "oh hey guys!" Matt said then returned to staring into Jess' eyes. I looked up at Cameron and smiled getting lost in his eyes. Yes again! Okay they make me crazy!
The bell rang and Jess and I walked over to our first class. The whole day just seemed to fly by and before I knew it the day was over and I was on the bus with Hailey and Jaime. We where just talking about nonsense again like we always did but everything that we talked about was funny. we all got of at the same stop and then they asked me where Jess was. "well...she's at Matts" they both looked at each other and screamed with excitement! I burst out laughing and then we walked home talking about how perfect those two where.
I finally got home and nobody was there so I took my dog Amy for a walk. I bumped into my friend Zoe on my walk and we talked for ages. By the time I got home it was dark so I hopped in the shower before diner. I walked down the stairs after wards and sat at the table to eat dinner. I sat down on the couch with a bowl of ice cream to watch my favourite show. When it was over I checked my emails on my phone. It was one from the school the subject was 'URGENT!' I opened the email:
'Dear Parents of your 8th grade child, we are currently organizing a year 8 camp to manly for one week and as there was only one week vacant for our accommodation which was at manly beach, the camp will start tomorrow morning at the normal time when school starts and your child will return home next friday. Since this is at such short notice the camp will be payed for after your child gets back so it will be recorded on the end of term invoices. We hope you can all come so turn up to school tomorrow with a suitcase packed for clothes at the beach and a note signed by your parents to give you permission to go on this camp and we need to be notified if you have any allergies
Sincerely - your High school.'
I re-read the email and got a text from
Cameron when mum was writing the note 'are you going to this camp at manly beach tomorrow?' I replied back saying 'yeah mums writing me the note now and I'm about to go and pack for it you?' he relpied as I was walking up the stairs with the note. 'im deffs going now that you are<3 xoxo' he's so cutee! 'Aaaww thankyou<3' I walked upstairs packing my brown leather handbag with my wallet camera and sunnies and everything I usually put in it. I placed the note in an envelope labeled 'School 8th Grade Manly Camp' I slides the note into my bag and grabbed out my suitcase from under my bed. I packed all of my clothes I thought I would need my swimmers and a beach towel. I walked into the bathroom and grabbed my soaps hair wash toothbrush hair dryer and straightener. I closed the bag tight and put it next to the front door with my handbag that I put my phone and charger into. I went back upstairs and jumped back into bed falling asleep instantly.
